Pepelini Authentic Mexican Food

I need to update this review because they seemed to have resolved the issue that I previously complained about. Pepellini’s has replaced the Raisin City Market and it has been heavily remodelled. Judging by all of the dishes we have tried so far, they serve pretty good food. I usually get carne asada and the meat is some of the best I have had in this area. Unfortunately, the tortillas aren’t the best but they are OK, fairly standard for factory-​made. Make sure that you ask them not to use oil on them if you prefer them that way or else they will. We’ve tried some other dishes that they make and all have been good. The things that keep this from being a five-​star review are the tortillas and the fact that they do not have cerveza. It is market and you can buy beer there but you can’t drink it with your food.
One more thing — on Fridays when the weather is good they cook some stuff on a grill outside over almond wood like chicken, tri-​tip, and ribs and those are very good.

I grew up in raisin city all my life and this is the best restaurant in the country. I love the burgers and fries. And the place looks so nice with granite tables. And the nicest customer service. I can’t wait to try more of their food. Two thumbs up for me.
