Horrible service. Larisa Valchuk is the bookeeper. Russian, heavy accent, no business to be working with people, threatening, rude person!!! No more orders from this company, because of one EMPLOYEE.

Second only to family homemade. This place is great, by far the best pierogi I have purchased. We usually stay with classics(potato, potato cheese, sauerkraut) but the last time we mixed it up, trying the jalapeño cheddar, mushroom, and sweet cabbage varieties and they were all excellent. Sweet cabbage has become my hands down favorite. These pierogi were not overly thick and heavy(mini bricks) yet they weren’t paper thin and falling apart either. Perfect consistency. Bake them with butter and a sprinkle of salt and pepper and you have a great comforting dinner.

If you want the best pierogis in area and only pierogis this is the place. They sell by dozen and with types of fillings. My favorite and potato and cheese and also mushroom. Have been coming here for over a year or so now and they are consistently fresh and delicious. Again this is the place when u are craving some pierogis!

So delicious! The dough is thin and crispy and the filling is tasty and not heavy. You can buy them frozen or fresh(hint, they sell out fast around the holidays, order ahead)

I have to agree with all the EXCELLENT reviews. Theses Pierogis are the best ever. Found this place by accident while at Rocky’s Bar and have been a loyal customer since. Told a friend, she special ordered the Blueberry and they finished them even before getting home. Lol. Must try you won’t be disappointed. Don’t forget Stuffed Cabbage on Wednesday it will still be warm when you pick it up and Beef Brisket Pierogi is to die for. And Dave L is totally wrong. They are NOTHING like the store bought mass produced Pierogis from Roselle that are sold in Deli Dept of Supermarkets!

Absolutely horrible. I’ve had better Pierogis from a bar. If you enjoy clogging your arteries with a pound of butter, and paying to cook your own pierogis then this is the place for you. Lets start with we ordered for lunch and the woman tells me it’ll be a 40 minute wait(I get there and no one is there). I had the broccoli and cheese and potatoe pierogi, there was no cheese and as mentioned before — DROWNING in butter. made me sick. everyone at my job threw theres away and we ordered something else. NEVERAGAIN

I have tried others because I love pierogies, but every time I eat them I always say they still don’t match pierogies palace. if you want something different you found it right here . I always wonder why they haven’t opened in other locations to spread this great product around. I will be moving out of state soon and wish they had a way I could get them delivered through express mail. even frozen and cooked these are awesome.

These are the best Pierogi in the country never mind the State, Rated #1 by the Star Ledger Munch mobile. This is a little store and these girls do all the work by hand. Yes you may see some flour on the counters where they work but that is a result of artists at work. The dough is melt in your mouth perfection and not over doughy like other pierogis The stuffed cabbge is to die for. Worth the trip. Buy extra and freeze. Tell them Laura sent you!

The BEST pierogies I’ve ever had. I’ve had the potato/pot cheese, saurkraut/mushroom, and brisket. They were sooooo good. I even love the frozen ones after they are baked in the oven, the dough gets good and crispy. But fresh made are the best!

Yes! To all the reviews. The BEST all around. Wonderful assortment of fillings… potato/cheese, sauerkraut, cabbage… to die for. The dough is thin and tasty. My only complaint is that they are perfect if eaten fresh, they do not hold up after they’re frozen and thawed and heated. They become a mess in the pan, frequently braking apart. If you’re OK with that, great. But if you’re serving them as a pierogi, good luck. Nevertheless, definitely recommend eating fresh.(They are cooked and warm when you order in the AM and pick up in the afternoon.) PS You may not wait until you get home so bring paper napkins and a paper plate.

Oh.My.God. Best pierogies I have EVER had in my life. Modest, tiny little storefront, easy to miss. Take-out only. The sweet girl/lady working today was making pierogies right in front of us(the place is so small and the kitchen is straight ahead past the counter). As we read through the pierogi options — there are about 10 — we commented ooooh beef brisket. Unfortunately, you need to order a minimum of 4 dozen for the meat pierogies. But she said that since she had a special order for those today, she could do a dozen for us. Awesome. We didn’t stop there, also got the potato/cheddar and cabbage ones(all fresh) plus stuffed peppers and stuffed cabbages(frozen). Had the pierogies for dinner tonight, pan sauteed them with some butter and fried onions. They were all delicious, SO delicious, and they were made with love. Can’t wait to try to the stuffed peppers and stuffed cabbages later in the week. You guys just got yourselves some new regulars.

I’ve been going here ever since I can remember to get pierogies. No matter where else I have had them, no pierogies have ever beaten the absolutely delicious taste of Pierogi Palace. As the other reviewer has said they are fantastically fresh. You can watch the women in the kitchen making them and the ones they have in the freezers still taste like they were just made when you bring them home! Also, you have to try their stuffed cabbage. I have been dying to figure out their recipe because I can’t make anything that tastes half as good as their stuff. But be careful when you go! Around Christmas and Easter they sell out fast, so if you want some at that time, I suggest calling EARLY and making orders.

«They are a one trick pony? What does that mean? Oh God!» — the words of my Dad when I asked him about Pierogi Palace. Pierogi Palace is the closest thing to an old-fashioned, home-made, traditional pierogi. The store is insanely small with the kitchen inches away. It is all in front of you when you walk in with a few small refrigerators with fresh pierogies in them and then the kitchen behind that. When you want to make an order for the future, one of the ladies in the kitchen will stop making pierogies and take your order. Again, it’s nothing special. They make the pierogies freshly and if you buy a small carton, you can almost bet that they have been made either that day or the day before. IT’S FRESH! Everyone in the general area also knows about Pierogi Palace which has kept them open for years without great advertising or a nice store front. To make orders during the Christmas/New Year’s season, you should probably put the order in about a month in advance. My family actually put our order in yesterday for Eastern Orthodox Christmas on January 7th. That is actually more than a month in advance. IT’S THATGOOD! You want some fresh, traditional pierogies then you better head to Rahway to Pierogi Palace. It’s really the best.
