Finally found a great Chinese takeout place(recently moved to the area). A lot of the places are changing recipes and going downhill in quality. Ming Feng is so good every time… and I don’t have a stomach ache after eating their food. One of the best places I’ve ever ordered from. They also have awesome home made iced tea I highly recommend.

I was hesitant to write this review as I have been a loyal customer for many years. But the last few times I ordered I used their delivery services. When I placed this last order I had the young girl repeat it back and it was all correct. when it came to me it was wrong. normally I don’t complain as sometimes this happens and at times it may even go in your favor meaning you end up with more or maybe something better. However the last few times it has been wrong and nothing was offered to correct it other then if I drove the order back in. This last time was upsetting because I had surgery just got home and really couldn’t pick anything up. The order was wrong again and it seems I’m not only getting less and not what I want I’m still paying more. so this is the last time I ever use this restaurant. Their are more then enough in the area that would be more then happy to pick up new customers. I won’t say the food was every bad or the workers rude but they just don’t seem to be able to get it right time and time again. so no more for me lost a customer for good.

I was hesitant about finding a new Chinese food place that I would like when I moved, but fear no more I found this spot. The flavor was great, the delivery time isn’t bad and did I mention the flavor was great? The only reason it’s not getting more stars is because while the food was good my order was messed up twice. I asked for no onions in my rice, had it read back to me that way, yet when it came time for me to make my plate it had TONS of onions. The other time I asked for two quarts of chicken & brocc and one of fried rice, was delivered, finally got ready to eat– had two pints of rice and ONE of chicken & brocc. It was delivery so I didn’t bother calling back but on my next order I will be sure to have them read it back 3xs over. However, I will be a returning customer.

When I am craving vegan junk food, this is the place I go. Awesome General Tso’s tofu. I’ve order this from other Chinese restaurant and it was soggy and gross. This one is crispy deep fried goodness. It is a rather large portion that can feed 2 – 3 people. The vegetable dumplings are pretty good too.

I feel like the quality of the food went down as the prices went up! I use to eat here years ago(I lived in Rahway for over 20 years) and it use to be good now it’s just a quick meal no real taste nothing. The staff is rude sometimes(especially the girl with the red orange hair). I ordered garlic sauce on the side with my meal and it was watery no flavor I could have saved my money! I guess it all depends on the cooks. When the owners cook it’s amazing the rest of them not to good!

Aww this place needs more stars than 3. Food was great. The only thing that was oily was the egg roll, but duh that’s deep fried haha The roast pork fried rice is tasty. Not too salty and has lots of roast pork in it. The sesame chicken order was plenty for $ 10. And the sauce was good. Fried dumplings are good too. Our order came to $ 30 but we got 2 free cana of soda ;)

The fried rice is amazing, the boneless spear ribs are good but a little oily but the flavors are all there

I never actually went in to eat or ordered physically, I just know they’re partially good with their communications through phone when ordering. I have a good feeling this is a good Chinese restaurant because I’ve ordered chicken brocoli and sesame seasoned chicken with brocoli from there before. Never have they failed me, worth the money and affordable too, they’re very generous and respectful if you ask for extra sauce too.

Went to Ming Feng based on a review that I read… Wish I hadn’t. It was terrible… We ordered the sesame chicken lunch special and it was like leather chicken with sugar… god awful… tossed it out the window… Also got Pork May Fun since the one person that spoke english said«good good»…well it was bad bad and i mean VERYBAD… like mush… the noodles were all stuck together and mushy. the pork was sliced thick and looked like a piece of red leather … the wonton soup that came«free» tasted like the dishwater from the back. I’m sorry to say, I’ve had better chinese from shop ritet! It’s like they get the stuff from giant vats and put into styrofoam with tons of salt and sugar and some fortune cookies and you have your«cookie cutter fast food» It took me gallons of water to get that salt out of my system. Very unhealthy food. Please trust my review-skip this place … you’ll thank me…

No flavor! Stopped by today and picked up a lunch special. I asked how they prepared their Szechwan Beef. After hearing the description I asked if I could have it with shredded beef, carrots and celery with the spicy brown sauce as that is what I am accustomed to. She repeated it back to me and said no problem. I took home Wonton Soup which was not greasy and a dark rich color, but tastes like flavored water. The wontons themselves are a good size but the filling tastes like boiled meat. My entrée is sliced, boiled beef with broccoli, carrots and celery in a brown sauce — no spice. Not what I ordered. Even the fried rice is bland. Good sized portion, not greasy. No flavor. Disappointing.

Quality seems to have dropped over the last year… not sure why, but this is no longer hitting the spot.

I’ve been looking around the Colonia/Rahway/Iselin/Avenel area for a good Chinese Take out. I’ve had food from here a while back and I remembered it was good. Well today proved it again. I had Kung Po Chicken and what a serving at a reasonable price. It had a little heat and tasted very fresh. Last week I tried Yoans in Iselin which has good reviews on here, but was dissappointed with the rice, it was clumpy, and that was the fried rice too. All the food was dark brown in color. We will be back to Ming Feng to try other dishes.

Ok food. It was a little low on sauce and very… fried tasting. I know that is probably the expectation in this price range but I’ve definitely had better! Fast delivery though and they were kind enough to bring it up to my hotel room. Overall, if you’re staying in a hotel in the area there aren’t many options so this will do in a pinch but I wouldn’t go back.

Ventured outside of Linden and immediately found better food. Phew, I probably only had enough extra stored fat to last 6 or 8 months. Had the House Special Lo Mein and Fried Rice. Had it delivered to the hotel and it was the best meal out of three that I had on this trip. Rahway — I shall return.
