Apple Tire & Auto Service

My family has been going to this shop since I was a little one and they have always done great work and stood by what they said Sal and Frank are good honest people and my family and I always go to them and they alway been honest and fair with us even through hard times. I even bought my first car from them great service and superior mechanical knowledge.

I had a great experience here. My light kept coming on saying that my air pressure was low on my tires. Dylan took me right away and fixed my problem the first time and a few days later when I had another tire issue. They found the little tiny nail in my tire and fixed it right away. Everyone is really nice here and I would feel comfortable bringing my car here to be repaired again. Bad week for me with tires, but my experience here made it less stressful than it could’ve been. Thank you!!!

It’s been 5 years since i wrote my first brief review of this place. My opinion of them hasn’t changed. I get my oil changed here all the time, I recommend this place to my co-​workers, and they’re very pleased with the service here.

Great mechanic who’s honest, fairly priced, and always whiling to work my car as soon as possible with wait times between 30 minutes to an hour.

I wanted to wait to review this business until I had my tires for a little bit so I could make sure I was happy with them. I’ve driven a good amount since I got them and I am still really happy so I have no hesitation in giving this place 5 stars.
I was driving near the Turnpike/​Parkway intersection when I drove over a pothole and blew one of my tires. I got it changed to the spare but was told that one of my other tires had a bubble in it and I should try to get the tires replaced soon. Not wanting to have any more issues, I took the next exit and stopped to check Unilocal for a place to replace my tires. I was really happy to see that this place wasn’t too far away and went there to check it out.
They have outstanding customer service. The owner was really nice and helpful, and very excited I had discovered them on Unilocal.He showed me that there was actually a bubble in 2 of my tires as well as the one that had burst. My tires were also pretty old and so he suggested that I could either replace just one or two, or replace all 4. He suggested a type of tire and also gave me the price; I checked online just to get a second opinion. The tire he suggested had great reviews and the price was on point too. I decided to replace all four tires and the process was completed in a reasonable amount of time.
Since then, I’ve actually had a better driving experience with my new tires. I would definitely give them five stars for the experience and customer service as well as their prices. Support local businesses and come here!

My car was making a strange noise and they fixed it so now the car works fine. Prices are very good. Service is also very good.

I’ve worked in the area for past 10 years and I was introduced to this garage by my co-​worker. This auto shop is a small business that is honest, reliable & convenient. The owners (both) are always at the shop to help you. When I drop off my car — they even gave me a ride back to work which is about 5 blocks away. All my co-​workers (70+) take their cars there… By far — this is the best auto shop in the area & they do more than just tires, the do all general repairs on the cars!

A month ago I became the new owner of Clean Dreams Hand Car Wash and Detail Center, which is connected to Apple Tire. I see on a daily basis how they provide excellent service to their customers at a fair price. They treat their customers like family– no wonder they are an institution in Rahway for over 25 years. I even saw one of the OWNERS fixing someone’s lawnmower the other day. You can’t get that type of service at one of the «big name» tire stores. My goal is to build the type of business relationships in the community that they have– I will certainly try my best to follow their model of success.

Had all my tires changed. Met the owner and he is a true, honest guy. One whom U could actually trust and not worry about getting ripped off. I hope U guys stay the way U are. Thanks for a good service.
And to the lady who can buy new tires at Sears for $ 40. Ure painfully retarded. People like U should simply stick to riding horse wagons.

They recently replaced a Timing belt and water pump for us. We are back on the road and good to go for another 60,000 miles. As always Sal and Frank were honest on their estimate and came in on target. Been driving the car for 1 month now without a hiccup.

Yes, I am a fan of Apple Tire. Sal and Frank are good at what they do and they always tell it like it is. Used cars can be expensive to maintain, especially when things go wrong. They will always give you an estimate what a job will cost and will work with you to provide the most reasonable service and at a reasonable price. They run an honest business and they are nice people to work with. You are more than valued as a customer, at Apple Tire, you feel like you’ve become part of the family.

But, they were very nice to me and vice versa; I am not an unhappy person. Nearly all my ratings on Unilocal are good, from Chicago to Cali and back. I got ripped off for a car at BIG LOU’S in Union, thus a bad rating.
I called Sal to apologize for my previous post because I I was going through something financially. I got a lemon car and one thing after another went wrong with it… so I was in a bad place. Sal is a beautiful human being and I was wrong.
One day when my ship comes in I am going there for four tires. Even if I never see you again, Sal, I hope you are FLOODED with business!!!
