Glad to see a self serve frozen yogurt place in Radford! I’ve been a few times and like that they have ingredients that you might have at home. From nerds to coolwhip whip cream to cinnamon toast crunch. They also have a good but small selection off fruits to put on your yogurt. Oh and I almost forgot, where some places will have little cheesecake bites, yous place just puts down a couple off slices of cheesecake and red velvet cake and invites you to carve of a «bite“for yourself! The downsides here are a smaller fruit selection as well as smallish selection of yogurt flavors. Most of the flavors and combinations seem to be geared towards making a chocolate or sweet kind of dessert. Usually I’ve seen one or two fruit flavors and maybe a plain flavor. I can understand the small selection is probably due to being a small volume place. On that note though, it’s never been too crowded or had trouble finding parking!

Damn good yogurt. Fresh fruit to candy toppings. Pile on as little or as much as you like as they charge by the ounce.

I have only been here one time but I really liked it, it’s a really cool idea and super close to the school in Downtown. You can go through and fill up to your hearts desire with a wide variety of flavors and then pick your toppings.

Great Yogurt and AMAZING Toppings Such tasty yogurt flavors and there are a million topping combination options. The kids love it because of the toppings, I love it because it’s yogurt and it better for them. Even if the yogurt is covered in sprinkles and gummy worms. :)

I’m so glad we have this little place. Plenty of flavors and toppings. I hope they stay around for a long time.

They are always switching out the flavors which is good. They have a facebook page and always post what flavors they currently have. They have late hours(until 11pm) which is nice for a late-nite craving. Their toppings are extensive. They have just about every topping you could ever imagine wanting on frozen yogurt from an assortment of fresh fuit, to mochi-a Japanese rice marshmallow. They have everything! I always stick with the boring, chocolate and vanilla swirled frozen yogurt with candy toppings, M & Ms, Reeces, and sometimes sprinkles! My husband loves the blueberry and raspberry tart flavors with cool whip on top. The staff is friendly and they have a huge plasma TV mounted on the wall. They play football games often and they are huge Virginia Tech fans(a positive for us!). They also sell bottled drinks which is nice and offer«to-go» lids if you can’t finish your frozen yogurt. A great addition to Radford and a great little place to visit for a sweet treat :)

Compared to what we have in Charleston, this is average. They do have decent selection of flavors, but what I had wasn’t exactly ground shakingly good. Their toppings selection was good. It’s a good fit for the area.

First fro-yo shop in my sweet little hometown. And what’s interesting is that BTO is a regional chain… started in Arizona. Hm! Sixteen enticing flavors are available; I believe they switch out about 6 flavors each week. The texture of the yogurt is chilly(my sister’s fingers became numb!) Atmosphere inside: hip and college-town-like(as expected). They have a satellite radio playing pop music; sometimes they have sports showing on the TV as well. Some flavors I have encountered: Tart: lemon, blueberry, plain, lychee, raspberry Sweet: chocolate, vanilla, cookie, cheesecake, red velvet, Reese’s peanut butter cup, apple pie, cinnamon, peach pie, chocolate brownie, etc. etc. …the list could go on. This place is so convenient to me that I’ve been by quite a few times now. :) Toppings: They have mashed cake in the toppings bar. Also, I was surprised that they actually had mochi since I didn’t think anyone would care for mochi in this area. Nice! Fruit toppings were all fresh and complemented the fro-yo very well. 39 cents per oz. Same as most places I went to in California. BTO(and the Bookworm) are what keep the young crowd in Radford happy. I’m happy to see that BTO stays open until 11pm here. :)
