the Sunday Indoor Farmer’s Market is a lot of fun and unique. ENORMOUS selection of gifts, clothes, bags and accessories. Lots for the girly types. Our assistants in the jewelry section were patient and friendly. Looking forward to going back in the spring and going nuts with the gardening.

A friend turned me on to this place. I had no idea there was a winter market here on Sundays. This is the first year and I hear it’s been a success. It’s terrific since I can’t make the Saturday markets most of the time. I have no bones about driving the 45 minutes. There’s plenty of parking. In addition to the market, they offer shoes, clothing, accessories, patio furniture, plants, etc… You name it, they probably have. If you’re hungary, they have a fantastic café that would please the meat eater and the health nut. It’s easy to spend hours and just hang out.

Has two of my favorite things in one location — a coffee bar and plants! Great assortment of plants, garden and other assorted merchandise. Helpful and pleasant staff. Great place to go if you are looking for plants that you won’t find at the big box stores. Bring money. Not pet friendly like Stein’s.

Milaeger’s «Art Before Your Eyes» is the 2014 Wine Tasting & Art Creation Event. This is more than event it is a true happening! Not only do you get to see old friends, but meet new ones. There are wines you never get a chance to see and eight artists of all ages. If you missed this event you missed something very special. Put it on your calendar for next year — the last week in June. Better yet, stop in at Milaeger’s and get the right date — it’s worth the wait.

I decided to check this place out with my husband this weekend — I was looking to do some gardening and was kind of tired of going to the local Home Depot that has limited variety of flowers so my husband suggested this place. All I could say when I stepped into Milaeger’s was O-M-G!!! There are so many variety of flowers that it I was in awe. There were so many varieties of perennials, annuals and shrub/trees that I had fun just looking through all of what they had. It was also nice that they had a lot of varieties of the same flower(like different colors) instead of the one kind of flower like they have at Home Depot. They also had a deal where if you buy 5 perennials, you get the 6th one for $ 0.01 — so depending on what you buy, it could only result in several dollars but it’s still some money saved :-) Mileager’s also had a lot of variety of vegetable plants, which is fantastic. I walked away with a bunch of vegetable plants that I’m excited to be fully grown so I can have home grown vegetables to eat. I will definitely be back to buy flowers & vegetables from Milaeger’s.

I tried using the instant Unilocal coupon no one working there knew how ring up our purchase using the coupon. Wasted time waiting for just a 5% off coupon.

Milaegers has a very good selection and the high side of adequate prices. The reason for my negative review is their 19th century return and warranty policy, which is nearly worthless. I bought a flowering quince from them two weeks ago. After three days its leaves curled and turned brown, so today I took it back since the warranty extends for a year, and this is way under a month. When you read the fine print, they only give a store credit, NOT a refund, and ONLY in the department of the original plant. OK, but what really soured me on returning to this outfit is that both the cashier and the nursery specialist accused me of killing the plant, even suggesting that I might have given it a disease or a chemical. Some customer service! They are friendly when you buy your plants, not so much when they don’t make it.

My family & I recently visited this MIlaeger’s location as we have done many times before. This place has a little bit of everything for almost everybody from baby & women’s clothing, to indoor & outdoor furniture, seasonal items, indoor & outdoor plants(which they grow mostly on site) & accessories, cards, wine & even a café. They also have weekly seminars & shows from fashion to their ever popular Christmas party that they have in November. This place is big & the way they have setup everything within their store it is not cluttered but very well thought up & very well done. So if you have an open afternoon sometime & are either curious or shopping for any of the things I listed above you have to check this place out you will be amazed, it is definitely worth the drive.

3 years ago, this store would have gotten 4 or 5 stars, however after a few horrible experiences, that has changed. 1st of all, the place is just to expensive, the christmas decorations, plants, name it, they are all to pricey. last year for Christmas I received from my brother a $ 50 gft card that they never scanned correctly and after attempting to use it in April, there was no money on it and I had to purchase my items out of my own cash. I later was able to get the receipt from my bro and they still would not honor the gft card. The customer service was not very helpful and the mgmt seemed to blow it off because they were so busy. It will take alot for me to come back and buy anything from this place.

My go to gardening HQ even though it’s a 40 minute drive. Milaegers has the deepest plant selection, including many things that are hard to find in this area. They have several massive greenhouses including one for annuals, one for geraniums only, one for tropicals etc. The store itself is huge and has sections for gardening supplies, home décor, patio stuff and clothes for Women Of A Certain Age. They also have a small café for sandwiches and drinks. To me, the best part of Milaegers is the fact that they keep their plants up. So many times you buy plants that are root bound or dried out or scraggly — I have always gotten good stock here. I will say the prices are definitely higher than say Home Depot, but the perennials will come back year after year. Buy nice or buy twice!
