Stopped by on a Sunday morning. Grabbed a egg & cheese bagel. Thing was huge and perfect for my hunger pangs. Quick service by a nice counter girl. I will make this part of my routine when coming home from the shore.

EMS Café is a small little café style place on Rt 49 in Quinton, NJ. Relaxed country décor makes it feel like a step back to a simpler time. Going with the EMS theme, they are building a patch wall of fire and EMS service patches. Very simple, generic menu that you could find at most pizza places with specials on the weekends. Counter service, but the cashier will bring your food to the table I have been to EMS café on several occasions during all times of the day. Service can be rather slow, even then they are not very busy and on simple orders. Food is often very plain tasting and bland. Not very much seasoning is behind the burgers and chicken sandwiches. French fries are very good, as long as you get them hot and fresh. If you let them cool down too much they become ice cold and soggy. BBQ specials are smoked on a slow cooker, but the meat itself was very bland and dry with an insane amount of BBQ sauce dumped on it before it comes out to the table. Iced tea is fresh and home brewed every day. VERY good, both sweet and unsweetened. For value, it feel that it is rather over priced for the quality. $ 5 for an order of onion rings that come with maybe 5 or 6 medium sized rings. Fountain soda sizes are very small for the price. its no secret that fountain soda is cheap to serve. I often go in with a friend or a family member and we find ourselves paying $ 30+ for a lunch for two, and are wanting more. Overall, i would give this place 2 stars. Food is average at best. Value is below average. Atmosphere is good, but beware dining in the hot months. there is no air conditioning(that i saw) and even with the windows open there was not much of a breeze. I hope this review is fair and is helpful to those looking to try a new place

Just had an Oyster Poor Boy sandwich. One of the all time best. Nice flavor in the sauce. Oysters were not over cooked, as they often can be in other Oyster Poor Boy sandwiches.

Great, Clean Place to stop for Breakfast or Lunch. Burgers are Fat, Fresh & Juicy! Great Place especially when your on a budget. No need to look for your typical fast food drive through’s. Eat in, or take out. Great place to stop with kids. When Traveling through Cumberland County on the way to the shore, a great place to satisfy your hunger! ENJOY! CHEFGARYCURRY

Good food, good coffee, good service! Quaint country location on Route 49(Quinton Marlboro Rd.) about ½ mile outside of Quinton. Try the oyster po’-boy, the wraps, the 5−1÷3 ounce hamburgers, fresh-cut French fries… And don’t forget breakfast — it’s all good!

Sooo good! Cute little café with country charm. Very clean and staff is friendly. I’m not sure what to recommend because I haven’t picked a favorite. Subs are all nice and fresh. Always a homemade soup to pick too.
