Just spent 3 nights here and we loved it! There are new owners who renovated everything in the last 1.5 years and everything is just so right! This photo here and on their website do not do it justice. It is actually impeccably maintained and the renovation included so many lovely little touches. We stayed in Edwards room which is an attic room with sitting room and lovely large bath. They had a few antiques but mostly new items that were done in a modern homage to antiques — think restoration hardware. This mean that things were functional and not funky. I loved the towel holders in the bathroom which were small deer heads with antlers(again, new, modern) The bathroom was large and had lots of light and a great shower with Marble look tile. There was a modern crystal chandelier over the bathroom sink which again was a touch of style that elevated the experience from everyday. The«antique» brass bed was new, so sturdy — not squeaky. The linens were new and fresh and we appreciated fluffy white towels. The sitting room had wing back chairs that once again were in a style fitting a Victorian but were obviously new. There was a faux fireplace in the bedroom that was fitted with electric candles that worked off a light switch. They set a very romantic mood as we tripped off to bed. In the morning we had our own continental breakfast with Seattle’s Best coffee they supply and pastries we brought.(they do not serve breakfast) There is a small fridge, microwave and cart to have an area for snacks etc. which worked well. We were in the area to fly fish and so grabbed our own quick breakfast and then made sandwiches for our lunches. In town we highly recommend the restaurant«Moon». I had a great steak and my husband had homemade lasagna. Both very tasty. We got the pastry from a coffee/shop bakery in town on a side street. Don’t remember the name but it has a candy shop with it. Yummy and highly recommend. Quincy — who knew?

The Feather Bed is a great place to stay. I stayed in one of the cabins, or cottages, and it was very nice. Since I hit my late 40s, I have awakened regularly several times at night. Both nights here, I slept for at least five hours without waking up. I highly recommend this place if you’re in Quincy for any reason.

I cannot say enough about the Quincy Feather Bed! The rooms are absolutely adorable and so tastefully done! The beds are like heaven… We rented the entire property(2 cabins and 5 rooms) and every single person just raved about how well they slept and how charmed they were. Stephanie and Bill are some of the most thoughtful, friendly, and wonderful people I have met. Truly. Here’s a personal story– I stayed here for my wedding… I forgot my garter and was 30-minutes away from walking down the aisle, in the middle of a photo shoot. I called Stephanie to see if the garter was in my room. She sent Bill in, he found it and drove 20-minutes to get it to me!!! I have been blown away by this while experience. To say I am pleased would be a huge understatement! Wow :) Just a wonderful experience!

As my daughter wants to go to Feather River College in Quincy we planned a college visit. On short notice I found this place. It is under new ownership and I loved it. The cottage where we stayed next to the main house is lovely! The owner came out to meet us and she is so nice! The cottage was immaculate, the beds extremely comfortable, the bathroom fully stocked with lots of fluffy white towels and sitting on the porch was so great and relaxing. If my daughter decides to come to school here then I will become a regular. I almost do not want anyone else to discover it but I highly recommend this place.

I just have to put in another vote for this being the best bed and breakfast!!! It’s a unique experience that brings you back to the early 1900’s. I guarantee you’ll get an excellent value for the price. Plus, they’ll make you whatever you want for breakfast!!!

I loved this place! It’s one of the best bed and breakfasts places around this area! Bob goes to a lot of work to provide a good healthy breakfast. He smokes his own sausage and uses his own grown berries! My Sister and I had a super great time and loved the property! I can’t wait to stay there again! We love you Bob and the awesome Bed and Breakfast you have! Melanie and Melissa(twins).

We spent two nights here with my girlfriend. This bed and breakfast is owned by a cute adorable old man named Bob. The breakfasts were pretty good. However we thought that 150 $ a night was overpriced for what it is: the rooms are old and small and the small shower in our room was not working too well.
