This place is a solid four star establishment. I am somewhat of a foodie and eat out at nice restaurants in large metropolitan cities on a regular basis and always have a hard time when traveling in smaller communities finding a good place to eat dinner. Reviews are all very relative is what I have learned, but I thought it necessary to comment about this place. The bartender was busy yet gave great service, I had a beef filet that was cooked perfectly, seasoned well, and came with a very large portion of sautéed mushrooms and onions along with other sides. For the price it was an excellent value and not far from a meal at a fancy steakhouse that would’ve cost twice as much. I also got a warm friendly local vibe, it is the holiday season and the overall environment was very inviting and warm. For some good food at a local Irish pub I would definitely recommend this place and it seemed like the best choice on the Monday night when many other fine dining establishments are closed in Quincy.

We pulled in without looking on Unilocal for a late lunch(2 pm). The décor is an interest mix of Venetian and pub. The servers were friendly and quick. The salad bar fresh, the cheese soup was a bit of a surprise with pasta and potatoes in it … A little salty for my taste. I had a side of steamed cauliflower with cheese sauce and the cheese sauce was salty and a bit disappointing as I was hoping for a real cheese sauce. The cinnamon rolls were not overly sweet and tasted great cold.

Kelly’s is simply the best. Whenever I am in Quincy with friends, this is the place on their«must» list. I’ve enjoyed salad bars in major cities across the country, but this one is hands down the tastiest and freshest. The entire menu is reasonably priced, and the service is quick and friendly.

Nice salad bar with amazing cheese soup and cinnamon rolls. Friendly service. Hand made chicken strips and cheese sticks are huge and very good. Nice lunch special with a sandwich and salad bar. I always get the tenderloin. It’s not one of the huge ones but it’s good quality. This is our go to place for lunch especially on Saturdays because they have chicken drummies on the salad bar.

That cheese soup is something else. Never had anything quite like it. Probably not too good for you, but hot damn.

I’m surprised by the mediocre ratings! I have never had a bad thing from the menu. Some of my favorites are the chicken club sandwich, catfish sandwich, crab salad, fried chicken salad, mozzarella sticks, seasoned steak, and even the side salads! Very friendly and professional staff. You can tell they run a tight and efficient system to best accommodate their customers. Fun for weekdays and weekends. $ 3 Bloody Mary and $ 2 Margarita specials on Sunday.

My favorite place in Quincy to eat. They are known for their great salad bar and their cheese soup. Also their cinnamon rolls on the salad bar are awesome. My favorites are their chicken strips and their burgers. Salads are huge! The food is cheaper here than at the chain restaurants in town, and you get salad bar with your entrée in the evenings. I’ve never had a bad meal here!

Popular local place, with a great salad bar and lots of menu choices. Full service bar. Bar seating available as well as booths, tables. The chicken strips basket is amazing, and the best french fries anywhere near here!

Great food, always. Service poor. When we ask person that cleaned up our table to refill drinks we were told she did not do that, ask our waitress. Did not see our waitress again until end of the meal, not good! Still a great place to eat. Pat P

The food is average but there is not much value. Everything is overpriced. The waiting area is very tight and uncomfortable. The seating area is the same unless you are lucky to get a booth. The service is fine.

This is a great restaurant if you do not like flavor. I have given this restaurant multiple attempts to ensure I didn’t simply catch them on «off» nights. Stick to the cheeseburger with fries and a bunch of beers, not great but with enough beers their food becomes palatable.

Great food and service. My wife loves the cheese soup and rolls from the salad bar. Prime rib is very good as well. Mostly older crowd of 50+.

Good food, try the cheese soup or the nacho’s! Down side, place is really cramped and no wifi?

What is with the crappy reviews?! I am from Chicagoland and I am one who hates chain restaurants; therefore, I am quite picky and know good food. In Chicago there is the best culinary choices one could think of. I also have lived in downstate Illinois for 3 years of my life, and I will say the restaurants are just awful in downstate Illinois, yuck! Food at restaurants in Western IL, Southern IL, and Central IL is just downright either gross or just edible at best. This place; however, tickled my fancy. The food was surprisingly good! I think I had a burger that was just awesome. I had low expectations, but this place worked for me. It was not just edible, it was pretty good! If I am ever in this area again I will be back!

They need to expand the menu or re-do it. It’s been exactly the same for years. There are TONS of fried options, and not a lot else. There healthy section is pretty boring. It’s a choice between totally unhealthy and totally no taste. The cheese soup is good. The service was fair. HUGE crowd around the holidays, the lobby is too small, we had to stand next to tables while they were eating, which is pretty uncomfortable.

I have been in here twice. Both times the service was deplorably bad. Its a very popular place if you like cheese soup, fried food, hot cross buns, and greasy food. Lots of pickup trucks in the lot on Friday nights…

Went on a Friday night with a group. Cheap drinks and okay food. I was on a quest for a good tenderloin sandwich so I gave it a shot here. Not bad but it wasn’t quite what I remembered the tenderloins being like in this area(thin and dinner plate sized). The fries were a little tough and completely lacking in flavor. Friendly enough service and decent atmosphere. Clean restroom and ample parking.
