I’ve had falafels before, from probably about three different places over the years. They’ve always been just sorta«meh.» I was sad that I just didn’t really like them and wondered why everyone else loved them. Well a trip to Falafel King straightened everything out. I just have never had a really good falafel until now. These are beautifully crispy on the outside, delicious on the inside, and one thing I noticed was they were not too garlicy, which is something that ruined a few experiences at other places before. Perfect amount of everything. With the hummus on the top? Totally heaven. The lamb and chicken shawarma plate hit the spot too. It was a good amount of food for the money. The service was great. The woman at the register was really nice, just put me in a really good mood. There are a good number of tables if you want to eat there… probably 4 or 5. It’s really clean in there too, but you can see mostly people just come for pick up.

Terrific falafel and amazing hummus. The salads with chicken kabob are excellent as well.

Finally got a chance to try Falafel King. I can’t believe what made me not try this place being in Quincy for so long. I am a huge fan of Kabobs and this place was right on. The ambience was good for a small place. What i liked is they make it right in front of you. Priced decently. I got the Falafel sandwitch on my first visit. The sandwitch was pretty big for the price. The first thing i noticed was the falafel was so juicy. I will definitely re-visit and try more items on their menu.

$ 11.99 for a loaded combo plate of Chicken, Lamb, Kafta, Rice, Hummus, Salad, Falafel, and Pita? Can’t get better than that! I was never a big fan of Middle Eastern food, but Falafel King changed my mind. You should’ve seen my takeout box. Didn’t leave anything behind besides the Styrofoam container itself. All the meats were grilled to perfection: a hint of char on the outside but hella juicy on the inside. The hummus is also finger lickin delicious. My only complaint is that the pita was a little on the dryer side. But once you dip it in the hummus, you completely forget about it. Definitely coming back soon! Also, don’t expect something nice and fancy. It looks like a run down pizza shop, but the food is 100% worth it!

What a find. Great food to go. The meat plates are tasty and plentiful. Falafel and hummus are well above par. I’ll be back for sure.

This is one of two of my favorite places to get falafel. The owner is really nice and the food is delicious. The meats are extremely delicious, savory and always moist. I have been here so many times through the years and I have yet to remember a time where the meat came out dry. The owner always offers you a falafel sample if you come to see if you would like it. I have made falafel at home, but I can never compare it to the taste of this locations recipe.

Stopped by for lunch to get chicken platter — chicken kebob, salad, rice, hummus, and salad. Everything in the plate was freshly made and tasty. The chicken was so good I ended up ordering two extra sticks. Polite service and easy street parking. Will be back.

The outside may not look like much but it’s what happens in the kitchen that counts. Everything about my experience was great. I walked in and ordered a take out order. While I was waiting the first time I went there I was offered a falafel with sauce on it — it was amazing. I not only appreciated the snack while waiting but I then couldn’t wait to get back to my office to eat my lamb and falafel wrap. The meat was fantastic, the falafel was crispy on the outside and flavorful. Pricing was fair and a good value for the food I got. I paid less than $ 10. A+ wrap and service. I can’t wait to go there again.

Had a craving for a falafel sandwich for days and this place is the closest to where I live. Maybe my expectations were too high but compared to Café Jaffa in Boston, the NYC food trucks and the ones I’ve tried in San Francisco, something was missing. The falafel balls in the sandwich tasted hard and not as fresh but if you want something super quick, cheap and convenient, this would be an ideal alternative to fast food.

As Arnold says: I’ll be back! Falafel is some of the best I’ve ever had! Chicken kabob was like butter.

Fantastic food! Visiting from NJ, I found this gem thanks to Quincy Unilocalers! I got the combination special of the day, Chicken, Lamb, felafel. It was fantastic, tender, flavorful meats over rice pilaf bad salad on the side, topped with tahini and a portion of hummus. Perfection.

Lamb was juicy and cooked just right… nothing special about this place, food is about average. service is very good and quick. It is a good place for a quick take out. There are better middle eastern places in Quincy area.

Its been long time i had a Kebab. This place helps me clear my Thirst for Lamb Kebab’s and Baklawa. Salad with the Kebab plate tastes good and fresh.

The name says it all! This is one of my favorite places in Quincy for take-out. All the ingredients are fresh, and the meat is cooked perfectly. It’s not the most glamorous atmosphere, but the taste is what sets Falafel King apart. The plates have large portions, too. There are approximately 14 chairs, 5 tables, and 1 high chair. There are no public bathrooms and no TVs.

I want to update my review since I was last there about 4 years ago when they first opened and I lived in Quincy. When I was last in and asked for a falafel, they took the precooked falafel balls in a container and put them in a wrap right away and gave me cold falafel balls. I was happy I gave them another shot for falafels since I got addicted when I lived in NYC a couple times. I went at lunch during the week while I was working on the apartment I just moved into and they were made to order, perfectly crispy on the outside, well seasoned with plenty of parsley inside. The price was right and they are now back on my radar… I’m stoked to have a good falafel place within walking distance. I remember the kafka being really good and reading my old review reminded me that I have to try it again. The menu is cheap enough where I will probably end up getting all the stuff on there over time as I am a massive sharwarma fan as well. Good eats, good prices… but don’t expect it to be fancy or have a good seating area. I have seen better seating areas in hole in the wall pizza joints… but I don’t care about that, just the quality of the food.

My first time but definitely not my last! I had a delicious falafel sandwich for dinner last night and it was everything I could ask for. The falafel was crispy on the outside but nice and moist within. The portion size is large and they were not cheap with the amount of falafel which made me happy. Very yummy and for less than $ 6 the perfect dinner choice for me!

Big portions for cheap — got a chicken shawarma for lunch and had leftovers for dinner. The meat is a little overdone for me(not sure if that is the style), but it was full of so many different and invigorating flavors.

Super delicious shawarmas! Falafel King’s hummus is addicting. Beware. I would lick my plate clean just cause it’s that good. Everything tastes fresh. Their salad, hummus, falafel and rice. The chicken sharwarma does get a slight edge over their lamb sharwarma. I would still lick my plate clean if I was given a lamb sharwarma fyi. The store is kinda hidden in the busy Hancock street. You won’t look twice at the storefront. Once you step inside, it’s still a hole in the wall. However, the food is simply amazing. Friendly staff members. Very quick service usually.
