Emma’s was a great! I tried the broccoli & cheese scrambled eggs. It was delicious. My friends had chocolate chip pancakes & Texas French toast. They both really liked it! We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and were seated right away! I go to college in the area, I will for sure be back!

I’ve been here once and it is right across the street from my house. I got an sausage and cheese omelette when I went, it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great. Not memorable. It’s very inconvenient for me that they don’t take cards and there are a few better places in the area.

First time here and went based on Unilocal reviews. I’m so glad I did! Our party of 4(with a baby) got seated right away in a cozy spot. Friendly staff, delicious food and it was on our table in a flash! After just moving to the town, I will definitely be a repeat customer!!!

Pretty much the same menu as Kristen’s in Braintree but the quality of the eggs and home fries were simply not up to expectations. In a very competitive breakfast joint market, after two subpar experiences, I am not likely to go back.

Emma’s breakfast is a homey little diner decorated with great little messages all throughout the place. The food is good and I never had any complaints. The service is quick and the servers are attentive. Definitely a place I would frequent often. Edit: downside is that this place is cash only so don’t forget to bring cash or your debit card since there’s an ATM right outside the door for you.

Decent breakfast, decent portions service was good. believe it or not the toast wasn’t very toasty. Home fries were just ok. However I would go back again.

what a great little breakfast place. had the two two two special eggs bacon and french toast with cheddar cheese added to the eggs. the food was delicious and the staff were extra friendly though a little heavy on the charge for the cheese in my eggs only got water and bill was 12.50 with out tip, was a great place but a little too pricey for me for breakfast but still recomend because of good food and service

I went to Emma’s on a Saturday morning for breakfast. The food was very good and the service was excellent. Our waitress was friendly and even though it was busy she kept checking in to make sure we were enjoying everything. I had eggs toast and homes fries and my friend tried the french toast. Both plates were delicious. I wish the space was a little larger, lots of customers and not enough tables. We waited for about 15 minutes but on a weekend morning that’s to be expected. Overall would definitely recommend it.

Great service. Eggs cooked as ordered. Pancakes were overly large and thick in texture. Liked that I was able to order kielbasa than the usual sausage, ham, and bacon. I paid a bit more than expected for the add ons of strawberries, whip cream, and kielbasa — a whooping $ 16 not including the $ 3 tip I left. First and probably last visit for overall experience.

Food was excellent! We just had great Father’s Day Breakfast. The waitstaff was really friendly and the food was great. The banana nut French toast was soooo good! We did a half order and split it between three of us with our orders. Family friendly/couple friendly/yummy food and GREATPRICES.

This is our favorite place for breakfast. It’s a little out of the way from where we live, but it is well worth it. The service is quick, the waitresses are sweet. Feels homey in side. You have to get there early, or you will be waiting in line for awhile. Any of the omelets are awesome or egg specials. I usually ask for the home fries to be left on a little longer because I like them more crispy than kinda soggy. Got to try them with some holindase sauce. SOGOOD.

Your average breakfast spot atmosphere with good food. I recommend the kielbasa. What sets them apart is they try really hard to remember your name and order. You don’t get that much nowadays. Keep up the good work ladies!

I’ve been to three or four places with simple breakfast in the Quincy area, and Emma’s is my favorite. They have like seven or eight specials every day, the service is good, and the standard menu items are also tasty. I’m not going to tell you that Emma’s uses locally-grown, artisinally-produced ingredients. I’m pretty sure they don’t. This is just your standard cheap regular breakfast food, and it is good. I like savory breakfast, so I cannot comment on the sweet breakfasts, although I always see plenty of pancakes, french toast, and muffins on their way out of the kitchen. My joint is eggs wrapped around some combination of meat, cheese, and vegetables. Last time I went, I had a special omelette: ham, cheese, sausage, and bacon wrapped in a thin layer of egg. It was good. It came with rye toast and potatoes, which I didn’t try. Good diner-style service, nothing to complain about. Prices are reasonable, you get your food quickly, and everybody is friendly.

I liked Emma’s, but I honestly didn’t think it lived up to the hype of all of the reviews I read. My husband and I went for midweek breakfast, and the parking lot was fairly empty. When parking, a staff member told us to move our car because the spots in front of Emma’s are perfectly positioned to get side swiped by the tow trucks that share their parking lot. Needless to say, we moved… The interior of Emma’s was somewhere between a greasy spoon diner and a quaint country restaurant — kind of cute, but just short of the mark/effort. We were promptly greeted by our server, and were given some time to review the menu. My husband ordered the pancakes with a side of bacon and I ordered a sausage and cheese omelet. We didn’t have to wait long for our food to arrive and the server was quick to offer a refill on the coffee and checked in on us a few times during our meal. My husband’s pancakes were really only so-so. They were big and fluffy, but didn’t really have a ton of flavor. That, and the maple syrup was really cheap, thin and generic tasting — which is such a shame because good syrup can really improve a pancake. My omelet was okay as well, but in my mind, its pretty hard to mess up an omelet. I will say that the portion sizes were quite large, and the fact that my breakfast came with toast and a nice portion of home fries was definitely worth the price tag. Also, I don’t know what coffee they use — but it was really some of the tastiest coffee I’ve had in quite sometime! Overall, I would say that Emma’s offers a nice, standard breakfast. The prices were average and I would say the same of the food — not that average is a bad thing, just not anything I’ll be racing back for anytime soon. I think its fair to say that if your looking for a no muss, no fuss, non-chain sit-down breakfast joint — then Emma’s a safe bet… just be careful where you park your car!

There is absolutely no reason that Emma’s should not have 5 stars across the board. The fact that we’ve had to stand in line each and every time we go doesn’t bother me, it gives us a chance to chat with friends for that much longer. This is the quintessential hometown breakfast/brunch restaurant. Sure it’s cramped, sure it’s loud, sure you have to stand in line; but the service is always great, and it’s always a personal experience. The only ‘complaint’ I could have is that we usually feel pressured to leave after we finish eating(to make room for folks in line), which is unfortunate as we often meet our friends for brunch and never seem to have enough time to catch up.

This place is definitely one of the better breakfast spots in Quincy. So far, it’s my favorite. I had the Deluxe Homefries and a Blueberry Muffin that was griddled with butter. Mmmm. I am definitely going back!

As good as it gets for a small breakfast place. Nice employees, not too claustrophobic, good food. Try the Deluxe Home fries, with broccoli, onions, and cheese.
