Blue Bella Salon

I have been going to Blue Bella for several years and I love this place. My stylist is Sunny. For me, She does roots, foils, cut and blow dry. She always makes me feel like a million bucks. Two friends have now become Sunny’s clients and couldn’t be happier. She gives you her cell phone so you can text her to set up appointments.

Just got my hair cut by *alexcia*
She is very sweet and highly skilled with what she does. I never come in the recommended every 12 wks she tells me to come in for trims but she takes my overly grown split ends and does what she does — and then POOF! — my hair is feeling light, shiny, and healthy. I enjoy coming in to see her because not only does she cut and blow dry my hair awesomely… she always seems to ease my stress from a day’s work leaving me to walk out not only looking good but feeling good, too. All the people are nice here but the only girl that I see is ‘Lexi’.

I’ve been coming to see Melinda for over ten years. I followed her when they moved from Quincy to Milton. Best service!!! Lexi the owner is also great too and friendly! I would highly recommend this place and Melinda. I always get compliments on my hair.

This place is simply fantastic — seriously reasonable prices, great service, and quality I didn’t expect to find this far out of a city.
Not realizing I was trying to get an appointment with the owner, I «settled» for a same-​day appointment with whomever was available. I showed up 20 minutes after calling and saw Sunny, who was the best conversationalist one could imagine from a stranger for 3 hours. While we chatted, she deftly colored my hair EXACTLY the way I had envisioned it, based on my somewhat hazy requests. I was actually too stunned to properly thank her when I put my glasses on at the end and saw the entire look. I would have spent three times what I spent with Sunny in any salon I’ve been to in Boston, NY, or DC and she was just as high quality and fun.

I am very picky about my haircuts. When I have a great cut, I have easy-​to-​style, great hair. I find that a lot of salons in Boston have a bark that is much bigger than their bite — meaning, they think their cuts and colors are beyond fabulous, but don’t really deliver, and the prices tend to be outrageous, too.
I have lived in the Boston area for 14 years. For 12 of the 14, I have been traveling back to Buffalo, where I am from, to have my hair cut by the person who does it best. Now I have three children and that is not so practical. I tried a pricey salon in Harvard Square that specializes in wavy/​curly hair… and I found my gal, but she left, and I didn’t like subsequent cuts/​colors by other stylists.
About my hair: It is dark blonde, long, thick, and wavy. When it’s cut right, I can put product in, finger comb it, let it air dry, and it looks great. A good cut will also ensure that it looks great flat-​ironed. I also have it highlighted.
So, on a whim, I tried this salon, which is small, local, and even walkable! Alexcia cut my hair. She is incredibly friendly, asked specific questions about exactly how I wanted my hair cut, and offered suggestions for color. She did exactly what I wanted, and was fast, too! I enjoyed the small, intimate salon setting, and really liked talking to Lexi. The prices were very fair and I look forward to recommending Lexi and to my next hair styling!

Kathi White is the best! My hair was over processed and brittle, now it looks so healthy. She also did really thin/​natural highlights that look gorgeous. If you need some hair therapy-​GO see Kathi.

This salon is fantastic. The owner Lexi is an amazing colorist, everyone is constantly complimenting me on my hair and for YEARS she is the only one who touches it! I have never experienced anything but professionalism and great service at this salon, and would recommend Lexi to anyone in a heartbeat! If you are thinking about getting your hair done here, do it! You will not be disappointed!
