Bill Shea’s Replacement Countertops

I had a fairly poor experience with Bill Shea’s.
They showed up late for their template appointment and *hours* late for the installation appointment. They left a black mark and spot in one of the Corian seams, which I only discovered after they left and haven’t been able to sand out myself, and since they dropped off the face of the earth after installation (stopped responding to my emails, which I send on three occasions, including one to the eponymous Mr Shea himself.), I never had the chance to ask anyone to fix it.
They also billed me for «tear-​out and removal,» which was work simply not performed, since I had done that work myself. When I asked them to remove the charge, they mumbled something about having already given me a discount and then stopped returning my emails, as mentioned above.
Communication was the worst of all. My sales person required multiple follow-​ups from me at every step in the process just for me to get really basic information like a written quote, confirmation of the template and install dates, etc.
On top of it all, a second quote came in from another firm after I had already placed a deposit with Bill Shea’s, and it came in at about 25% less for the same job! I wish I had gone with them.
