Had the spinach salad, the NY steak, and the crem brûlée. So. Good. Quality and quantity… Check! Chatted with one of the owners– it’s a husband/wife effort. Great people! We would definitely come back to try more

I consistently enjoy my food here, but my favorite thing at 2Thirty4 is their homemade cheesecake. They often offer some variety of this at dessert, and it is amazing. Definitely the best cheesecake I have ever had in my life. I also enjoy that they serve their bread with pesto. It is nice to have something different from the usual bread and butter.

Love this place. Consistent quality and friendly service. I had the duck which was the special tonight and it was fantastic. Group of six, we all had great meals. Kelley is a great chef! It’s a nice, unique, quality restaurant in the middle of a small town.

Would recommend and come back here. Went as a party of three on a Wednesday evening, got a table right away, the place was low to moderately busy. Service was prompt, helpful and very friendly. Had a custom drink with one of their house syrups and it was good. I don’t remember too much about the food other than I recall being pleased with the quality and presentation. Ambiance was okay but décor could stand to be embellished a bit. Wine list options by the glass didn’t do much for me but I’m fairly particular and can understand that a place without high volume wouldn’t want to keep open bottles of their best sitting around.

The food and service was excellent. I would recommend the fish tacos to anyone and the Caesar salad was very good I just wish it had a little more dressing.

This is a pleasant find in Quincy! The food is wonderful, from the scallops to the salad to the steak and cod. The corn chowder was delicious. You won’t be disappointed.

We came in for Valentines Day and it was delicious. We started out with Oysters Rockefeller. I had the salmon and my wife had the Scallops. We finished with the Red Velvet cake with chocolate ganache. We will definitely go again.

No idea how this place has 4.5 stars. Maybe i’m too used to chicago food, but i was disappointed. Food was alright. Nothing special. The pork belly was good, the spinach salad was the best, but overflowing with dressing. The stuffed pork w spinach and goat cheese was blah. It looked pretty, but the taste was lacking. The steak burger was lacking sauce. The ambience is ok– dark and quiet, but a bit too empty. Maybe cuz it was a weeknight. I would not return. Overpriced for the lack of taste.

Amazing. Everything was DELICIOUS and fresh. I cannot wait until my next visit to Quincy. Try the sodas. The spinach salad was to die for. The BLEAT was naughty but so nice and satisfying. The bread pudding is a must. Omg now I’m hungry.

2Thirty4 is a nice place that is unique to Quincy. House made flavored syrups, used in several alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, is part of the specialty of the business. I had a vanilla bean club soda, which is the seeming equivalent of a cream soda, and really enjoyed it. My wife and I both had steaks which were prepared to our liking and the overall dinning experience was a positive one. The steaks were cooked either in a skillet or a flat top instead of a char-grill and while my personal flavor is for the char-grill, the steaks were good just the same. I had not problem cleaning my plate of the steak, green beans(fantastic), and mashed potatoes. Though I was plenty full, I was able to «squeeze» part of a chocolate chip bread pudding with caramel drizzle in to «fill in the cracks». I would recommend the restaurant as a unique place with good food and plan on going back again myself.

Service was fantastic. I asked for my order to go and the waitress actually rushed it. The NY Steak sandwich was INCREDIBLE ! The rest of the menu looks awesome too, and I can’t wait to try more of it. The interior is quaint. Good job !

Fresh food in Quincy, Illinois! Just returned to New Mexico after visiting family in the area and it’s no exaggeration to say 2Thirty4 was the Gem of the City for us. House-made condiments and super-fresh, this is 5 star quality at a reasonable price. Lucky Quincy!

Great little restaurant. Friendly staff. We have been there for lunch and dinner. Prefer the lunch menu. Nice sandwiches, salads and fresh soup daily. I had the gazpacho, it was delicious. I like places that give you a choice of half sandwich and soup so you can try both. Dinner menu is small portions which is fine for me but not for bigger appetites. It is a limited menu. I ordered the scallops that were well prepared but I left there feeling hungry. I would definitely go back for lunch.

I give four stars for effort. They are trying really hard here and it shows. One of the better options in the area. They make their own sodas, that are quite tasty. Entrees somewhat bland but were at least thoughtfully put together and not overcooked. Salads are genuinely fresh with stimulating ingredients. What I take exception to is their claim of a local and seasonal menu, scallops & calamari in the Midwest in May? dubious, methinks. For my personal taste there were way to many items with cheese and/or cream in them, and too many starchy sides. Menu needs some balance in that regard. If you’re in Quincy it’s a solid option and a better value than a lot of other options in the area.

Décor is fresh and clean, much nicer than Sydnes was. They actually serve wine and it appears a bar too? Or so I ve heard. We weren’t offered a cocktail at all so I couldn’t tell ya. The menu seemed a tad more upscale than the old place but very limited offerings. I ordered a humous sandwich, which was very good. The service was very good and the server knowledgeable. 8 bucks for a sandwich no soup or salad choice seems a tad steep. I think they’ll do ok.
