I grew up in Quilcene. Beware of the jellyfish if you ever plan to swim there. I once had a sting that covered my entire buttocks region. NOT cute!

A beach called Linger Longer? Does it get any cuter?
Yes. The water is so clear and pure you’ll feel like taking a running leap into it. You’ll also likely be the only person on the beach if you do decide to go. There’s a big shallow area for wading and playing around, and one of the residents nearby set up a floating ladder and slide you can probably use w/​o them noticing. It’s not 5 stars only b/​c it rains too much in WA.
