Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory

Yet another place listed as «Closed» by Unilocal,but it’s clearly open for business.
With that said, how long will a place last that charges $ 12 to $ 18 per pound of chocolate? Holy friggin’ bananas Batman! Most people that come to these outlets are hellbent on paying nothing and finding bargains. Seems a bit tough to justify paying this much green for some chocolate covered pretzels or chocolate truffles.
Anyway…
The place is very clean, has a nice layout with all the sweet chocolate treats proudly displayed in large glass cases. As you walk in, the first thing I noticed to my right was the chocolate caramel covered apples sprinkled with peanuts… dammit…I wanted one but resisted.
The samples were tasty and my cheap ass scarfed down a few. Their chocolate is good but I can’t see myself paying these prices when I could get some great chocolate treats from my local Trader Joe’s at a fraction of these prices.
