HUGEPORTIONS small prices. Great ice cream and they’ll put two flavors stacked on any size come you want. A+

Picked up some shaved ice and ice cream before going to the drive in theater and everything was good. My wife liked the ice cream a lot and the portion sizes are ridiculous. Hope your hungry!

This is a must visit if you are in Lake George/Queensbury. Hot food is above average. Must try the clam strips basket. Foot long hot dog is worth a try too. You can skip the Philly cheese steak. Get the large ice cream cone amazing!

Every time we passed this spot driving by there would be such long lines, no matter the time of day. So we finally decided to see what all the fuss was about. It’s a cool little spot, with delicious ice-cream. The food was ok I guess, but their ice-cream was top seller. A major plus was the outdoor heating for those chilly nights.

My wife and I stopped here on our way out of town for the drive back to Montréal, we couldn’t stop laughing, seriously, 20 mins down the road we were still laughing at the unusually large ice creams we received. Big selection of flavors and great speedy service. I have nothing bad to say about this place. I got a «large» milk shake and my wife got a «medium» cone. Well jeez, my wife said«take this thing, it’s heavy». To put this into context, I am a professional fat guy and if eating ice cream was an Olympic event, I could represent my country. With that being said, ¾s of my wife’s ice cream went out the window and half, HALF! of mine went out the window. It’s a fun summer memory for sure. I would recommend this place to everyone, do yourself a favor DONTORDERTHELARGE!!!

This was a real treat to find. Grilled burgers, dogs, cheese steaks and sausage on a flat top. Plus excellent soft serve ice cream! All were great! The jalapeño cheese adds a nice level of spice to the burger. Fried clams were plump and crust was fried perfectly. It’s basically located across the street from Six Flags Great Escape so makes for a good lunch or dinner alternative to the park. Bonus — bathrooms were unexpectedly very clean.

I have much respect for this place. It’s right across from the Six Flags and thier prices are still the same. And the sizes are huge. They have tons of flavors to choose from also. The only downfall is the long lines. But it’s worth it.

As a fan of soft serve ice cream, the opening of Martha’s for the season is a minor holiday at our house. The two largest sized cones are huge, so if you order one of them, expect a monstrous cone. I’m fine with just a plain vanilla cone, but their specialty flavors are excellent as well, and there is a variety of them available every day. They also do Hawaiian shaved ice, I’ve seen this made in several different ways, and the style Marthas uses is the best. It’s always tough to decide just what to get with so many good options. They have added food options as well. The fries are pretty good, burgers and everything else pretty standard food and price wise. They have fried pickles, which is nice. They have an outdoor dining area so it’s fun to go for dinner and leave with some ice cream.

Best ice cream I’ve ever had. Highly recommended. It is absolutely delicious. Prices have gone up so its not as good a deal as it used to be

I’ve visited Martha’s every year since the 90’s. However, it wasn’t until more recent times that I’ve made it pretty much the ONLY ice cream stand I’ll visit while in Lake George. Their portions are huge, and an extremely well bang for the buck. I made the mistake & got a large. It was literally as big as my head. I consumed it all(cotton candy flavor, BTW), but my stomach did not settle well that night. Stick to a small, and you’re fine. Medium if you’re really hungry. The price is fantastic & over a dozen flavors to choose from(some quite unique), and you’re in for a treat. I also had their hot food which was new for 2015. You also get a fairly decent portion with a good burger or dog for a very reasonable price. You can add some toppings, and they have a decent covered shelter to eat under. You definitely can’t go wrong and it’s a must-eat when visiting the Lake George region.

Came her for vacation and OHMY, these deliciously creamy frozen desserts were just to die for. Let me start off by saying everyday is a new day at Martha’s as they have a Monday — Sunday menu of different flavors. 1st up: Cheesecake with hot apple topping. THISWASAMAZING… I will be dreaming of this 2nd up: Mint twist — tasting like a nice Andes mint chocolate candy. Which I will be honest Andes mint chocolate bar is hands down my favorite mint chocolate bar My husband had: 1st — Hawaiian Ice Creamsicle — He enjoyed this very much and said would re-order if had the chance. 2nd — Coconut Ice Cream — I did try this and was also a very amazing ice cream. It tasted like sweet coconut milk, with bits of coconut in it. I would definitely come back again when in Saratoga. Till then Martha’s you will be in my dreams as I salivate on my pillow. FYI — They are extremely generous in portion so my advise to you is to go with either the small or medium. The large will definitely be bigger than your head.

I don’t get it. Everyone seems to think this place is the best ice cream joint in the world. It’s good, the soft serve is definitely creamy, more than most. But I still don’t get it. What is it about this place that’s making folks go crazy? Frankly I think this place is a overrated and now the brand has influenced the newbie into thinking Martha invented, or perfected, the soft serve. Mind you, this is excellent ice cream, the prices(and quantity) is spot on and love their open late. Lots of good things going for them and for us. But come on folks. Martha’s certainly deserve high marks for a lot of things they are doing right. Best ice cream in the world? Perhaps top ten? Definitely #1 in Lake George.

Martha’s never disappoints. After a subpar dinner, Martha’s put a smile back on my face. The cotton candy was amazing tonight, but the best flavor they have, in my opinion, butter pecan! Definitely worth the wait in lines, even in the heat.

Omg! wish we would have found this place sooner! hands-down the BEST ice cream!! Not just in the Lake George area but possibly in all of upstate New York! Love the outside ordering stations w full menu posted, place is very popular and of course draws the crowd from the Great Escape across the street but the lines go very quick and totally worth the wait I had the small brownie sundaes and it was absolutely incredible! I had it with the chocolate peanut butter twist ice cream with whip cream, cherries and of course the best brownie ever! I couldn’t tell you what my wife and kids had because I was too busy inhaling mine! please add this to the top of your list after dinner in Lake George Village you will thank me and many others that recommend it! Nothing compares. Nothing!

If for some reason you find yourself in Queensbury NY, please stop by Martha’s! Quick back story: Martha’s was/is a family-owned and operated business started in the 40s by a sweet couple. At some point before the millenim, the couple sold its property to the Great Escape amusement park(situated right across the street). To the dismay of all their long-standing customers, the quality of the softserve nosedived when this exchange happened. Luckily for us, in 2012, the couple bought back their franchise! This is a strictly outdoor space. They built 10 – 12 cashier windows, where you can go and place your order. Fair warning, the sizes are out of the this world. Every time I’ve gone, I’ve split a kiddie size! Other than that the chocolate crunch dip is amazing! In terms of flavors, the apple pie has a more subtle taste(which I appreciated). The vanilla was comforting and not overly sweet either. And the raspberry, chocoloate twist was aaaaamazing!

Recommend a stop here! Wow. Ice cream, ice cream, ice cream. Great value. Order a small, it’s too much. We made the mistake of ordering mediums and larges. Too much of a good thing. An amazing range of flavors. Service is fast. The ice creams, milk shakes and sundaes were great.
