Honestly a lot of the guys that work here seem to care nothing about the service you get. Dude just dumped a pound of salt on my sandwich and didn’t blink an eye. There needs to be a training course at this place. Some of these people missed it. The women who work here seem to care a lot more about the quality of the sandwich, the guys are just racing to see how fast they can finish a sandwich. I understand Subway is Subway but come on. Act like you care a little about what you send out with people!!! I’ve spent enough money here for one life time. Cleanliness is another thing. If you are doing anything away from the counter with your sanitary gloves, CHANGETHEM before you start on someone else’s sandwich. If you have a cough, don’t cough while you are preparing a sandwich or don’t come back into work until you are healthy. Coughing into the crook of your elbow doesn’t cut it. Act like you care! You’re going to(and have) gotten people sick!!!

Ok, so scolding me for taking the wrong cup for my combo meal when a) you didn’t hand me a cup, and b) you didn’t tell me which one to take, is not going to net you many stars for friendly, helpful service.

Only ever one person working here at a time preparing and cashiering so it will take a long time to be served if there’s already somebody waiting. I, and I’ve noticed others, turn right around and leave if this is the case because we don’t have time. Whoever thought of this business model is missing the point. Higher prices than Manhattan and they don’t participate in the usual promotions even if that promotion is advertised on the phone booth outside on the curb with their address printed on it. They also close earlier than the hours posted and act like that’s normal. Twice in a row now they’ve ripped me off with only 7 meatballs on the footlong and the balls were cold. All the franchises seem to have stopped including meatball on the $ 5 menu, which is fine, but they raised the price to $ 7.50 when it’s $ 6 or $ 6.50 wherever I go in Manhattan. So, now it’s better to get a real meatball sub across the street at Retro Pizza for only $ 5.50! Bigger balls too! Haha, fools!

When the last review spoke about massive health violations 9 months ago, I started to get worried as I prepared to eat my breakfast. Thankfully the A on the door and not getting sick after past visits reassured me that I made the right choice this morning. I tend to frequent this Subway as a post-workout meal on Saturdays and never had any complaints. I go when it’s empty so I get to enjoy a quiet breakfast with the whole place to myself. I usually get the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. If you’re health conscience, get the egg whites. As Subways go, there is nothing that really makes this place stands out.

DONOTGOTOTHISLOCATION!!! Serious health code violation. I was here at around 1:15 on 9÷13÷12 and the male that was working(it was only him and a female) stood BAREFOOT on top of the soda machine drain/grate to reach something above the machine. Gross. Vile. Nasty. Simply unsanitary. There were two other customers sitting right next to the machine who also witnessed this. We were all appalled. I had noticed when I first arrived as he was restocking chips that he was wearing flip-flops. As someone who works in the food industry, I know is not allowed. I was disgusted and should have demanded a refund right away but I was honestly so shocked that I just walked out and promptly threw away my sandwich. I have been to this location several times as it is right around the corner from my apartment, but I WILLNOT be returning. I wrote corporate so who knows what they will do. I am typically a fan of Subway, so this is really unfortunate. I was excited for this location to open since it is so close to home, but the workers are clearly not properly trained or simply don’t give a S$%t. What happened to eating fresh!!!
