I was driving around queens and was hungry, then i stumbled here while i glanced at a girl walking by. it was a slow day since only 4 tables were been occupied. The place is big and spacious, the décor bland, but the food is great and prices you cant beat(yes you can but not for this delicious food). I went in and ordered«sobrebarriga» is pork that melts in your mouth, tender and really easy to eat, with a side of rice, beans, maduros and salad. there was so much food i had to take some home and im a pig when eating out. Colombian food is becoming one of my favorites, they make and serve you lots of food for a good price. try it and you will see what im talking about. The place only gets a 3 for these reasons: 1.- i ordered pastelitos, but they never came, sup with that. 2.- the waiter and the waitress got into a small argument and as a patron i dont like to see drama. i will try it again on a busy day to see how they rate.

i seriously ducked in here because my friend angela was craving for chicken — lucky enough because her son was fine eating a hotdog and i had to come back to la perrada de chalo to introduce him to the wonder that is columbian hotdogs —(picky eater, he took all the good stuff out and ate the thing naked) i must say, THEIRCHICKENISMAAAAAAADGOOOD. i dont have much experience in eating chicken in places like this, but they have tender, not greasy, falling off the bone goodness that did not need sauce.(i find regular rotisserie chickens to be bland). their yellow rice was good, and the maduros we had on the side was amazing. of course, i took a whole bird to go. why not for 10 bucks of amazing chicken happiness. if they did this same thing to a turkey i might start liking turkey for thanksgiving.
