Mudan Celebration Center

Mudan has such a beautiful décor for an ideal wedding party! It is quite warm and romantic even to a wedding guest! The entire room is spacious and clean. The dance floor was placed in a strategic place, the guests in the far left or right may have to stand up or go up to the front BUT that’s the point — participation! There was a Chinese Red Box provided — it is traditional transportation method for brides in history. The bride sits inside while four muscular guys carry her to the groom’s home. Upon arrival, the groom will «kick» open the door for the bride to come out. Our beautiful bride got to use it when they were doing the traditional tea ceremony! So cuteee!!!
Dinner was the typical Chinese wedding foods. Not too bad but nothing too spectacular. I do realize that the food is a bit more on the light-​flavored side which I mean healthier. Dessert platter was a surprise! Asian-​flavors macarons and bite-​sized cheesecakes!
One big complaint that I have is that our waitress keeps taking away our full plate of food that she just served when the other wedding guests and I were participating in activities with the newlyweds. Not cool!
Overall, a pretty decent wedding banquet hall!

There’s Two Mudan on Unilocal.alto the address looks a bit different they are actually the same revenue.
I was one of the wedding planning team for my friend’s wedding. Mudan offers a great dinning hall, other than that nothing else.
1. waiter, waitress, bartender and the person in charge for the revenue they all have attitude and being rude.
2. not organized. part of the party hall was close before the event. the lady who was in charge told me they will reopen that part before the dinner starts. Later that night when the dinner is almost ready. she came to me and ask me if they can open it up. i told them i thought you will open it. she yells and claims i should have to her to open at specific time.
3. Hors d’œuvre for pre-​party. we told them to bring it out at 6pm. they said their kitchen was schedule for 7pm. food was serve in reception area, but some of the waiter were hanging out at the receiption desk and tried to serve people that just walk in. WTH… at least let people settle and check in first.
STAY OUT OF THIS PLACE. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. its a really BAD Experience there.
OH. yah. FOOD part. its horrible. Ingredients are fresh. just wrong combination and favor. Lobster salad (Chinese Style-​originally suppose to goes with fresh apple, mango or any other fruit, instead, it came with all cook chopped vegetable. HORRIBLE.
PS: they mandatory charging 20% SERVICE FEES, i guest they are really afraid they wont receive any tips for the bad service.

My friend got married here last week and the place was rather nice! I liked how it looked inside, from the outside, well, it is in Queens. The area isn’t so pretty outside. The food were 8 courses and everything was phenomenal, the MC they had kept the guests entertained the entire time! I had a great time at this place, it’s a little too purple for me, but it’s still a very pretty place.

MCC offers a variety of wedding and other event (planning) services. For weddings, they have many listings of vendors such as photographers, cake makers, florists, decorators all of whom they have a working relationship with. I came in once for a short meeting with the Rep (Ning) and she was very pleasant to work with. It seems that this is the one-​stop information center for you to kick start any event planning. Upon making an appointment with MCC, they’ll ask you to bring in ideas in which they’ll work with you to try to bring them to life. Their expertise is in event decoration.
Inside this cozy open room, there is one glass table and cubed chairs for clients to sit in. Around the room are displays of samples (photo albums, invitations, (fake) cake lol) from their affiliated vendors.
