Delta Sky Clubs are nice, clean, updated, and like ATL this location has the outdoor patio that is also nice, weather permitting. In domestic clubs you are paying for a seat and wifi, although the Sky Clubs are usually packed worse than finding an empty gate. The free snacks are decent and can hold you over until your flight, or until you can find something else to eat. The new Sky Club menu and«upgraded» options are odd to me. BEWARE anytime Delta uses the word«upgraded» it means you now have to pay for anything additional you want. You can get more onboard your flight for free than you can paying hundreds of dollars to gain access to Sky Clubs. Paying $ 6-$ 8 for anything over well alcohol, $ 14 for a chicken cesar wrap, and $ 19 for a cesar salad with nothing on it is LAUGHABLE after you have already paid to get into a club. Don’t get me wrong, the club itself is great, especially if you can get in free as a diamond or business elite/delta one traveler. Unfortunately at JFK there is really no other option for Delta travelers… I hand it to delta for finding a way to maximize profit off everything they do. They make the correct assumption that most people in the club are using their corporate cards and don’t care. We can only hope JFK adds a Centurion lounge like LGA has.

These days, airline lounges can be seen as bottomless money pits to their airline owners. Scrimping & saving anywhere they can, which usually results in us frequent travellers having to resort to coffee imported from China and with better meals served from NYC street food van vendors. Delta has certainly lifted the game with a variety of food that is definitely edible & also the choice to purchase made to order food. The check in staff are very friendly and the lounge itself is fairly spacious with lots of power points for that extra boost of a charge before the flight.

Delta sky club is now really good. The new terminal 4 and new clubs are great. Food selection is nice as well, although at 6:45AM they are not fully set up yet. Would have given 5 stars but I’m hungry and you would think at 6:45AM on the busiest travel day or the year they would have breakfast. Free food, alcohol, snack and a comfortable place to wait for your flight!

A great place to spend time before a flight, the staff greeted us warmly and were very efficient with the check in. The space is well laid out with plenty of seating and charging stations, the complimentary drinks and food were delicious and abundant, the only thing better than the staff and cocktails was the view… Loved watching all the runway activity If it was allowed I would just go to hang out and have a drink even if I was not flying

This for me rates as one of the best lounges and definitely the best lounge I have been to in USA! There is a selection of hit food in charging dishes(rice, chicken in mushroom sauce, veggies) as well as soup(although exactly the same ones as I saw in the delta lounge in Atlanta last month) and crudités. They also have an open bar! The sac bland from chile was very good. Good wifi and power points all through. I would mind being delayed if I had access to this lounge!(Famous last words!) The staff were also helpful and offer to fetch your next wine so you didn’t even have to move, except your hand!

Almost nailed it Delta… If your delayed wouldn’t it be a priority to provide comfortable chairs… just sayin… Delta tries to make the their Sky Clubs better and better; the big advantage on this one is the Roof lounge; very cool to hang out in the warmer months. Improve the seating, give me charging stations every where and let’s step it up a bit…

Excellent sky club. It’s huge with lots of areas to sit and relax. The food was typical sky club but very plentiful and constantly being refilled. The staff here work very hard and have great customer service. They hustle big time! I liked the quiet room. The only problem is that the chairs don’t recline. The sky deck was closed so we didn’t go out there but it looked beautiful. This place rotates a lot of people thru and is constantly busy. I never had to wait for a drink there was plenty of staff.

It’s really one of the best in their system. I mean, if you fly Delta and live or go through NYC, it is a smart move to check this place out. There are plenty of ways to gain access including slipping in past the not so watchful eye of the front desk or diamond status or the delta reserve credit card and also for a daily fee of $ 49. If you have an hour or more you can enjoy a few free or freemium cocktails and a decent changing spread of complimentary treats including cookies, hummus and hot soup. They do have a full bar, but you’ll pay normal NYCv prices for top shelf stuff. You also have a nice menu of hot and cold foods that they’ll deliver to you via pager device — even outside. Yes, there is a well documented terrace that is actually pretty nice, albeit loud with airport noises(what did you expect?!) I don’t know of any other lounges that have an outdoor space — period. Take advantage especially in spring’s 2 weeks(remember it’s NYC) or late summer into fall. Sometimes it is crazy crowded, but you still can find a seat somewhere. The bartenders are pleasant and the views out the windows are callingl calming — rare in an airport.

Filthy. Crumbs all over the place. Hard to find one clean table. Nobody is bussing the tables. I’m on a virgin flight to London operated by delta. Disappointed so far. Virgin lounge is far superior. Much cleaner and the service is better.

Long queue on the way in, but more than enough staff behind the desks to move us along. Decent choices of beer on tap, and there’s always a menu for bites if you want to pay. Brooklyn lager on tap and a really nice view of metal birds taking off and landing from the roof deck. This little piece of outdoor space really adds the fourth star, or may I just really like planes.

First time in this location for the Delta Sky Club. The staff that greets you/check you in were pleasant and professional. The room had enough space that can accommodate several people without feeling over crowded. The breakfast options were sad and I only had a yogurt and some water. I felt they should have better choices and have a better set up. Perhaps the time that I arrived was too early for the better choices.(Around 5:30−6 am) There were plenty of seating and space to move freely. It was clean and neat.

Roof deck makes this pretty good. They have the following: Workstation area by roof deck ~ 10 spots and quiet with power and desks. Quiet room ~18 spots really quiet and great reclining chairs(could sleep) Main seat in area ~60 spots and lots of power Dining area ~45 spots and food options are decent. Order on iPads. Roof deck ~ 25 but people crowd out here sometimes. Music some days in the summer with DJ. Food selection has soups now + standard salads, chips, nuts, hummus, etc. House alcohol is free — basic spirits bud and miller. Other drinks aren’t terribly priced for an airport but are not cheap. Overall a pretty nice lounge when it isn’t crowded but expect lots of people in general.

Either the US airlines have been depriving their frequent fliers of what used to be a luxury travel experience or this really is just an exceptional airport lounge — bravo Delta, you totally nailed this. I mean, just start with the outdoor patio with tons of room and drink service! For NYC, I thought the people working here were fairly friendly and helpful. The place is immaculate and the showers were super nice. I love all the new food amenities as well as the full made to order meals(for a cost). At least you can have a preflight meal without waiting in line at a burger place. Anyway top notch and major kudos to Delta on this.

Wow! Elevated their service since my last visit. Team here are more convivial– team member refilled our wine glasses without being asked, «I thought you’d like another». Loved this experience. Keep it up! Thank you SKYCLUBTEAM!

This is one of the better domestic airline lounges I’ve been to. Honestly, this particular sky club is the best one I’ve seen. Adding to that, this blows united clubs and admirals clubs out of the water. However, it doesn’t compare to the ultra luxurious Centurion Lounges that American Express offers… and it’s really not fair to compare to them. The place is very clean, modern, and spacious. There is plenty of seating and it’s not packed with people. The service is great, order right from your seat if you would like. The food offered a bit more than the standard carb-fest other lounges offer. There was soup, fruit, vegetables, couscous, cheese/spreads, salad, and various other items. Overall, I was impressed with this spot and I’ll keep this lounge in mind for my next JFK flight.

Eggs and oatmeal. Liquor, juice, 6AM and we took a nap while our phones charged. Well done. Not bad for a 5 hour layover red eye. All we needed was a place to rest

Near gate 32. I’ve been to a few SkyClubs — Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Detroit, Atlanta, Fort Lauderdale, Salt Lake City — but none have been as large or as roomy as this one in JFK. Plenty of places to sit, relax, recharge, and get a break from the crowds. The snacks and the drinks are the same as at other SkyCllubs. I think they do food ordering here as well, but I did not have enough time to try and figure out how that works. Free wifi and plenty of power outlets. And free booze. What’s not to love?

This is the best Delta lounge I have been to. The major differences are the overall size, the brightness(tons of windows) and the outdoor space(first lounge I’ve been to that has an outdoor section) Other than these items listed, everything else is the same as other Delta lounges. The food and drinks are ok, not great, but ok. The other small downside is the location of the club. It’s in one of JFK’s notorious mile long terminals meaning that it’s not really close to any gate!

This is simply one of the best airline lounges I have been in… period! A. Service — The service from everyone at this lounge is first class! I have been in many lounges in the world and felt that the service here was great. B. Food Selection — Ok, not as extensive or complete like other lounges, but what they had was darn good. Soups, salad, pasta, nuts, snacks, fruits, veggies, hummus. Full Bar, Water. Like I said, this is no gourmet facility, but presented very well and very tasty. C. Power — Nearly every seat has power for USB or plug in! D. Space and Relaxation — This lounge has plenty of space and seating! You feel relaxed and calm in this place. So many lounges are packed with people and crowded that it is hard to relax. E. Getting in — Well, you have to be a member, flying first domestically, business internationally and /or have a normal Amex Platinum card. There may be more ways to gain entry, however, if you can use it! This is a totally well designed and well serviced lounge.

Recently checked out this Delta lounge on a trip through JFK. It has… 1. A super cool outdoor patio that is a relaxing spot on a sunny day. It is what gives this place the most notoriety. 2. Plenty of space inside. In addition to being bigger than most Sky Clubs, higher ceilings make it seem that much more so. 3. Nice bathrooms and showers. 4. Like other places, plenty of places to charge electronic devices. 5. A separate room for those who are trying to get some sleep. 6. Restaurant service. While the area is not clearly marked, there is an area that is restaurant only. Don’t worry, they will run you out quickly if you are not ordering extra food or are confused about where to sit. 7. A large clean bar area. At the end of the day, this lounge is very nice. However, it has the same limited free food and drink options as other lounges. The white chocolate covered pretzels that everyone actually liked have been banished from here as well. Also, the service here is good, but won’t win any awards.
