China AAA reminds me of grand buffet! Their food is so greasy as grand buffet and the place looks awful and a try-hard-to-be-an Atlantic city buffet, but smaller. When I went there, again same as grand buffet, I didn’t pick a lot at the buffet table because their food might be expired or unsanitary. So, I choose two orders; Chicken teriyaki and white rice, that’s all! The chicken teriyaki tastes chewy and greasy and the vegetables taste fine. But, I don’t know why they put a lemon skin on my chicken teriyaki? Or that’s how it is. Anyway, what’s with the triple A? Does it stands for something? Or maybe it’s the higher quality of the restaurant, according from the NYC department of health and mental hygiene. Speaking of the NYC department of health and mental hygiene, when I left the restaurant, I saw the grade sign on the window and it graded as an A. WTH are the food inspectors were thinking? The place looks unclean so does the food, and there’s not enough of people dining to this crap. The food inspectors should revise this restaurant again and grade it as a C.

Don’t eat here. The food is not clean, and the place is nasty. Flushing has many better buffet style cheap Chinese eateries.

I live in the area and typically order from 2 other places but I was intrigued by their soup selection so I decided on this place for the first time. Ordered soup for myself and my mom. Both of us couldn’t finish. For me the broth was fine; a bit greasy, but the wonton were not okay. To throw a positive amongst the negative: Delivery was prompt and friendly. Do not recommend.

I got the five items for $ 6.99 deal. You get more food here than at similar places, plus they have ribs. The curry chicken was probably the weakest link and it wasn’t hot enough. The greens and tofu were good. The biggest surprise was a dish with the kind of chopped-up chicken that you’ve seen before in General Tso’s or sesame chicken, but the twist was the inclusion of fiery peppers

We waited 2 hours for the food from Seamless and it never showed up. We called the number but it kept giving us a busy signal.

New to the area(so I dont know what this place used to be like) and I dont order standard chinese take-out very often. And I’m a vegan. All that being said, I’m happy with this place. I’ve ordered for delivery twice so far. Both times it arrived in a decent amount of time, ordering on the phone was fairly painless and the delivery guys seemed friendly. The entrees I’ve ordered were all pretty good(Kung Pao tofu, schezuan tofu, broccoli in garlic sauce), nothing incredibly oily or old tasting. Could have used a little more spice, but I can always order it that way in the future. They also have brown rice, which is cool. The scallion pancake left a lot to be desired unfortunately. Kinda greasy, which is not uncommon, but really just fried dough, not much taste and almost zero scallion. Regardless, the food seems alright, the veggie options are plenty, and the delivery is reliable, so I’m happy to have them in the hood.

This place is under new management and is now called«China AAA» instead of «China Mia». They’re cash only(even after being around for enough time to acquire a credit card reader) and their buffett food looks crazy greasy… but decent. I’d give them a 2.5 if Unilocal allowed halfsies, but I’ll push it to a 3 because they are really nice and aim to please. The only things I’ve eaten from here is their sesame orange chicken with white rice and their won ton soup. Their rice is the standard, steam-cooked white rice that you get everywhere and it wasn’t bad… neither was their chicken… it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good either. The chicken was a little dry(but not bone dry, just not awesomely juicy) and weirdly stringy, what didn’t stop my from chowing down on it was the sauce. It’s tangy, citrusy and strangely sweet than the sesame orange sauce that I am used to, but it was also weirdly hard to put down, could also be because I was absolutely starving that day. Their won ton soup is PRETTYAWESOME and probably the biggest reason that they’re getting 4 Unilocal stars. Employees here are super friendly nonetheless and service is quick, efficient and portion sizes are pretty generous. As someone noted below me, English is certainly not their first language here… but you’re in Jackson Heights and that’s the beauty of the neighborhood, lucky for me I speak fluent Español-o, but I’m SOL with the Chinese folks here — but they are fluent enough to communicate with me when we discuss food, lol. There is a lot of diversity and between the Latin places, Indian places and Thai places most of their employees are native to their respective parts of the world and what they all share in common is being able to cook yummy, inexpensive food. The«cash only» thing here is a real downer for me sometimes, but I suppose it’s not the end of the world. I won’t go out of my way to come here, but on a late evening I’ll pop in for some cheap and easy noms. Wouldn’t call for delivery though, I’d call«Asia Restaurant» on 88th and Roosevelt instead.
