A cute neighborhood spot for coffee during the day and tapas with wine in the evenings. It is very small and cozy. They have their winery right across the street. I came in on a Saturday afternoon and ordered a London Fog. The barista didn’t know what that was and when I described it she told me they can’t make steam milk as they’ve already taken out the steamer for the day, bummer. It was maybe 2 or 3PM. I definitely wasn’t going to start drinking wine and eating tapas just yet, but that’s what they were ready to serve instead. I settled for just an earl grey. I’m sure it’s a nice place for tapas and wine as well, but I didn’t stay for it, maybe another time. Not the most attentive service.

First let me state how I wish they opened up much earlier instead of 4pm, because I would like to stop by an grab a cute of joe right before work! Great ambience and chill vibes from the second you walk in. Naturally I don’t go to coffee shops in Jackson Heights but when I found out about Addictive Coffee and saw images online, I was sold. It’s also a great quiet place to but on head phones and enjoy some alone time on your laptop and focus on any work.

My best friends have been dying to go here, mainly because it is around the area of where we live. Initially I was not interested in the place, but discovering they DO have a matcha latte, I decided to go. This place is a pretty cool place, I must say. During the day(around 8 am to 3 pm) they serve coffee, and baked goods, and by the evening(around 5 pm) this place becomes a restaurant/bar. I find it funny how they simply just get their wine, right across the street. The place is rather small, with a wooden theme(approximately, 15– 20 seats). Recently opened, you would think that this place belongs in Brooklyn or Manhattan, definitely not in Queens or even Jackson Heights. My best friends ordered regular latte, and I ordered the matcha latte. Initially, I thought they did not serve this kind of latte because it did not appear on the menu. Luckily, the barista was extremely friendly enough to approach on this type of matter. She offered us a rewards program, but not being a coffee addict myself I gave my reward up for one of my best friends. The latte was around $ 5, which is a little above average from the lattes I normally buy. In terms of the flavor of the latte, it is one my favorite matcha lattes I ever had. It was not extremely earthy flavored, but had a creamy consistency which I enjoyed. Of course, I enjoy my latte’s a little bit sweet so I added 2 packets of raw sugar which made the flavor complete. Drink: matcha latte tasted great, perfect milk to matcha ratio, less earthy and more creamy taste Appearance: small space(15 – 20 seats), wooden theme, and very nice viney décor Service: friendly service Price:a little above average pay for a latte, but I find it worth it The only thing I would highly recommend is an updated menu, like adding in the matcha latte to let customers know that they do indeed serve matcha latte(maybe they have updated it already, I haven’t been there in a couple of weeks, but I hope so). If you are ever in the heart of Jackson Heights, I recommend you visit this coffee shop as you will find that this is one the treasures hidden amongst the Spanish and Chinese restaurants, small bodegas, and cheap clothing stores.

This new addition to the neighborhood is a fantastic find a block from home. If you want to take someone out and give them a wow factor; small, intimate, chic, welcoming, and eclectic beautifully done interior designed by the owners, search no further. The interior rivals those found in Manhattan. My friend, Amy and I had coffee and pastries here which were great; muffins and quiche which come from a bakery in Soho. This is definitely a repeat for breakfast and we will try out the tapas one evening in the future.

Beautiful, cozy spot!!! Amazing find in Queens. You would not believe you could find such a place in good old Queens. Great ambiance, good selection of wine, some good tapas choices and the owner Francisco is a sweetheart. Totally in love with the place!!! Highly recommended. Stop by and try this spot out! PS — Just a quick specification. I went there at night when it’s a wine bar but I will definitely check the coffee and the pastries, now that I found this jewel. :)

I love this place. A little pricey but the best coffee & crossaints in the area. Good music, bright and clean.

Great little place for coffee, tea, baked goods. They have a little convection oven & that will heat up your pastries in a flash, which is a nice touch. Just a few tables and a counter, but well put together. Oh & wifi too.

Their espresso drinks are so amazing! I love their mocha latte. Their matcha green tea latte is also a must-try as well. Those are my favorites here! Love it.

I’m EXTREMELY happy that such a great coffee shop has opened up in JH. Things are a-changin’ in the hood and that’s wonderful. The coffee is delicious and the pastries are very good, too. I would say they are a tad bit over priced but I wouldn’t say the prices should be comparable to bodega coffee. After all, you are paying for quality ingredients.

Great new little place in Jackson Heights with a lot of potential. Extremely overpriced: I’m sitting here drinking a $ 3.25 cup of coffee(I had asked for a regular for $ 2.50 but was given and charged for a large), and I’m currently munching on a very stale, not huge $ 3.00 muffin. I do appreciate that there’s no minimum for cards. If the management makes their prices more reasonable for what they sell — it’s good coffee, but we’re on Northern Blvd, not in midtown Manhattan — and makes sure the food is fresh, I’ll be happy to revise or even replace this review with an excellent one. Lots of promise here, but they need to work out the kinks and charge reasonable prices if they want to be a place I’d return to(and I spend a lot of time in cafes).

My wife and I have been wanting a good coffee spot around the neighborhood. Finally we have one. The environment is great, the staff is friendly. And the cappuccinos are on point. Can’t wait to try the rest of the drinks. Oh and almost forgot the food is good also. Everything is great. Keep up the good work. Will continue going as long as the quality keeps up.

This lovely coffee/tapas spot is tucked away and around the corner from northern Blvd. In an area of Jackson Heights that is frequently congested with noise and smells, a delightfully calm place like Addictive Coffee(across from the winery) was desperately needed. Now I can enjoy my Sunday mornings at a slower pace, knowing that I can saunter in here after doing errands, and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee. ***also the décor is intricately beautiful. Yet, I wouldn’t expect anything different from the owners of the equally lovely Addictive Boutique Winery

Stopped by the newly opened Addictive Coffee for the first time. My wife and I shared a delicious cortado and a chocolate almond croissant. The coffee was rich and very flavorful and the pastry was outstanding. The atmosphere is warm and convivial. We’ll definitely be back frequently and are looking forward to trying the evening tapas menu some time soon. Support independent local businesses(like this one!) that care about both the the quality of their products and the environments of their stores!

Opened by the same owners of addictive boutique winery, a new trendy café and tapas bar is now on northern Blvd on the cusp of Jackson heights and east elmhurst. I came for their soft opening today, and they already were sold out of a few pastries. My wife and I ordered the lattes which were strong and incredibly flavorful. If you like coffee in its pure sense, then give them a try. We also had their muffin(chocolate) and the ham and cheese croissant. Both were moist and flavorful and filling. The prices are what you’d expect, and the staff is friendly. The décor is also interesting and seems to be the trend for cafes. Wooden, rustic, and industrial but with a charm that is lacking in other cafes. This place just feels comfortable to sit in and although small, is peaceful and calming to sit in.
