Big John’s Pizza Brew

Food was so rushed .i got a burger bacon looks stale very wet… im so disapointed… first time and the last !!!

My favorite pizza joint to visit when I fly back home. Definitely the place to visit for some Authentic NY pizza!

I’ve been eating pizza here since the 80’s and it’s always been consistently decent. It’s not my favorite pizza place, but definitely decent. A Queens Village staple that has outlasted many other area businesses over the years. So despite the several complaints I see on here, they must be doing something right.

Take it from me, there aren’t many decent Pizza or Take Out places in the area. Big John’s is big on TASTE. I’ve ordered take out and delivery here time and time again. Their pies are very good. I enjoy the Hot Wings, Jalapeño poppers and sandwiches. Their Italian sub and philly is very tasty.
The delivery service here is quick and the staff is very polite and kind. If it’s a storm or a Friday night you feel like being lazy, use the Unilocal Eat 24 app or call Big John’s.

This is a good local spot if you’re looking for a quick bite. There isn’t a wide variety of different types of pizza but I usually get a Sicilian or regular cheese slice and I’ve never been disappointed.
They also have made to order pastas which I’ve had once or twice and it was pretty okay. They do deliver locally which is a nice perk especially on those winter nights when you don’t want to cook and just want a full meal.
There is seating and the service is ok, the person who runs the place is pretty nice. They also serve Italian ices and they’re delish!
I’ve been coming here for so many years just when I want something quick, overall it’s a clean place and good for a quick bite. Finding parking is a hit or miss because it’s located on a main road and right near the LIRR.

Bbq wings were delicious & tasted super fresh. However philly cheese steak was horrible, dry, not enough meat, & what was their was burnt. If anyone knows cheese steaks it’s me. Iam from Philly lol

Great pizza, great selection of delicious foods. Best of all are the people, everyone is very friendly. Whenever I get delivery the delivery guy (different guy every time) is always very nice.

Food was pretty good. Hubby and I ordered the Philly cheese steak and hot wings. Although the hot wings were a little dry, the sauce was flavorful and tasted homemade. The guy who answered the phone was very rude, however we would still order from this place again.

Don’t waste your money. This is my favorite pizza place for delivery. They continuously make mistakes but usually rectify the situation. Tonight, upon receiving the incorrect pizza, we were greeted with attitude and Paul’s obviously novice hospitality skills. He even hung up on us after telling us WE could return the wrong pizza. After ordering from big johns for more than 5 years we will never order from them again. I’d rather call dominoes

Horrible customer service!!! Who ever answers the phones needs to be more respectful to people and stop being an asshole.

Took 2 hours to come, very dissapointed & they always forget something in the delivery, I called back they told me it would take another hour and a half for my missed food order to come. .. I spend 50 $ here on the regular when I order for my family & they are slowly losing me as a customer. Highly upset

Pizza is very thin, but tasty. there Cesar chick pizza is pretty good too. customer service is great.

I am always glutton for punishment. I would come here more often only if the times I sparingly do go sucks each time! Ordered a whole pie explained I wanted it crispy. As I open the box the pizza was half done and not cut!!! Extremely sloppy… cheese pep and onions all gooped on top… Ahhh I feel sick!!! I actually called them and the guy Paul seemed super understanding and said the next pie is on him. Will u remember me Paul? Look I will try it again but they need to step their pizza game up the Neighborhood needs it!

Simply the best maybe it’s me, but there is nothing like a NY’ers pizza. Customer service was great and the food was awesome. I would definitely recommend this place and the next time I come back to New York I am definitely going to be visiting here again.

Omg! When you are in dying hunger and in the mood for REAL Italian flavorful food; CALL BIG JOHN!!! It’s not that expensive for the high quality food they serve. Delivery is 0 hassle and customer service is GREAT! Love these guys. Call now!!!

Ok food. I’d order again. I ordered via
so I could pay with my card. I didn’t have cash and didn’t want Chinese or pizza. I ordered the junior double burger (very good. Huge. Had lots of onions) with fries (my goodness, the fries were enough for three servings). Delivery took 40 minutes (seamless quoted 30 – 45 min so it was within the time). I had to call to make sure they received my order because I didn’t get the normal confirmation email. They guy on the pone was a jerk. That’s my only complaint.

Service:
I grew up going to Big John’s, so when I came back to town I really wanted to have some. I ordered 2 slices, mozzarella sticks, garlic bread, and zappoles. When I ordered, they told me it would take 45 minutes. after waiting an hour I called, the man who picked up rudely told me the food had left 15 minutes ago and hung up on me! it took another 15 minutes to get the food (1 ½ hours from when I ordered). The food came cold (I guess that’s to be expected after being out for delivery for 30 minutes.)
Food:
the pizza is not amazing, it’s definitely not as good as it was a few years ago. It doesn’t help that it’s cold.
the garlic bread was not well done there are random clumps of garlic and herbs which i think may have burned in the oven. It’s also soggy and cold.
the mozzarella sticks, also cold. not terrible or amazing.
The zappoles, the things I was the most excited about are of course cold. they’re somewhat wet and just tough to chew.
Overall:
Not a good experience, very little could have rescued it after the worker hun cup on me. I would not recommend this pizzeria to anyone. In case someone from the store reads this, I was order 257 today (transaction ID: 31L12847EH370593J)
