Food was meh and very greasy. However I would be willing to go back and try something different. As of now 3 stars.

Our first time and we really enjoyed everything except the raspberry tea. The staff is friendly and helpful and we are looking forward to going back! I loved the pot roast and my husband loved his teriyaki burger! Kid friendly also!

Food was good, we weren’t drinking so I kind of felt slightly ignored but other than that it was fine. The game is fun to play too. Good atmosphere.

Had a great time doing karaōke at this location! Food was great as well as the service. The hostesses were nice, we were sat by a very funny gal wearing a red bandana headband and our server was Gabe. However, I happened to hear one of the managers say some degrading things to one of his employees. I didn’t appreciate the disrespect. I, for one, didn’t appreciate eating with the bad vibe in the atmosphere. I’ll still return to this location, since I do love the people there. However, that manager needs an attitude change.

I feel like this is more of a bar that just happens to serve some food. I don’t drink alcohol so when I have come to this place a few times I have sat in the dining area. Food isn’t very good and made me feel kind of sick. Service is hit and miss. Last time we went will be our last for sure. I decided to give them another try but it was awful. They sat us down(party of 3) we ordered soda and an appetizer and then our meals. A family of 3 came in 10 mins after us and sat next to us. They got their dinner before we got our appetizer. We just ordered the pretzel(which no one liked) it shouldn’t take over 25 minutes for an appetizer. Our dinner was brought out 45 mins after ordering. As we were about to leave the people sitting behind us called out the manager. They complained to her that it took the waiter 30 mins to come get their drink order. So it wasn’t just us. Maybe they cater more to people who drink alcohol? It could be their real money maker.

Bears is solid. Been going there for a couple years but only willing to promote it for the past six months or so. Food used to be real hit or miss, usually miss. They’ve upped their game considerably though, past half dozen visits(I only frequent 1 – 2 times a month) have been good, even gotten approval from the wife… that’s saying something. Kid friendly(pre-bar crowd obviously) and dog friendly, lately people friendly. Servers and bartenders have always been great as well. As with any bar/‘grill’ your mileage may vary, they’ve beaten the spread with me though, I’ll be back.

Been to this location at least 100 times. Very consistent. I know what I’m gonna get every time we go here. Decent food and a fun atmosphere. I live in North Gilbert now and there’s not a location near me so I’m kind of bummed out.

As soon as I got placed at my booth it took 15 minutes for a waiter to even recognize that I was there. I told him that I wanted to see the manager and it took an additional 15 minutes for that to happen and for the manager to come talk to me. I saw the manager look right at me the first time he was told about my request and took another 5 minutes to come talk to me. When I explained to him what happened he never apologized for the lack in customer service nor did he even ask if there’s anything he can do to help make my experience a better one. All he did was look at me and say okay after I explained what had happened and I walked away without anyone trying to apologize. I’m never gonna eat here again!

I’ve had nothing but great experiences from this location. We order takeout at least once a week. Awhile back I was running errands and ordered takeout on my way home. My daughter was with me and fell asleep. Not wanting to wake her up to go in to pick up the food and definitely not wanting to leave her in the car I asked if they do curbside. The man on the phone(I really wish I asked for your name) said they don’t normally do curbside service but he would definitely accommodate us and do curbside for us. I was so grateful and impressed by his compassion. Not only do we like the food here but everyone is so nice and they give such great customer service. Thank you to the manager who made my life easier that day and brought our food out to the curb for us! Austin is always so awesome and upbeat when I call to place our order. Thank you guys for such great customer service… all the time!

My family and I came here to eat dinner and it was pretty cool. Love seeing the pictures of the dogs all over the place but the peanut shells all over the floor was not very appealing to me. Food was good but definitely felt like a bar area. not comparable to texas roadhouse at all.

Uncle Bear’s is kind of a hangout place for me. I like the staff and the beer selection is very nice. They have a full bar as well, but I go there primarily for the beer. Oh, and I love the Buzztime trivia game here, too. They have a decent menu of mostly pub grub, and a few salads. The food here is not that great and that’s the primary reason I took off two stars. For a long time, Uncle Bear’s was a fine choice for food and beer in Queen Creek. However, the QC is starting to grow up and, and strong competition is moving in. I’d like to see Uncle Bear’s up their game a notch or two as I’d hate to see them fold up their tent and leave. If you’re in the neighborhood and are looking for a variety of good beers at a very reasonable price, please stop in at Uncle Bear’s. 4÷21÷2016UPDATE: More recently, I’ve found that the quality of the food served is improving. The beer and the service have always been great, so I’m adding one additional star. Good work, UBQC!

All day we had been planning to try the new place up the road, but when we got there, they were packed. Not wanting to deal with the crowds, we drove over to Uncle Bear’s and I’m so glad we did. We got a table right away and our server was awesome! She was on top of it during our entire visit making sure we had everything we needed. Because we had chicken wings on the brain, we decided to try them here. We ordered both the mango habanero and the dark ale bbq and both were delicious! They were cooked to perfection and not too fatty… loved them! Our table also ordered chips and salsa, edamame, a burger, and a pizza… all were pretty good and worth ordering again. We also took advantage of the daily special, $ 2 off either wine or mandarin wheat ale. Loved all the pictures of dogs on the wall and the peanuts served in dog bowls was a cute touch. I can definitely see us visiting Uncle Bear’s more often than the big chains that are moving in.

I rarely go here unless someone else in my party wants to go. It has a nice setup. Ample sports TVs. Food is terrible. Almost all of the food is terrible. Reminds me of a small pub bar food. Etible but not much better than Jack in the Box. Service is hit and miss. Sometimes good but often terrible. Staffed with a lot of high school untrained girls. If you’re a 21 year old love straved guy then this is the place for you LOL. Fire outside at night next to the open bar is nice with a few drinks and your significant other.

My wife, kids and i have tried giving this place multiple chances but every time we have been disappointed. I was shocked that the management would allow the hostesses to dress so provocative for being a small town bar and grill. Also– the girls were playing on their phones while we were waiting for them to find time for us The food is over priced and the servers always seemed stressed out. I’m glad there are a lot of new restaraunt a opening in town.

Local spot. Service good. Veggie burger substitute is the fabulous and yummy! The boys said wings were good. They brew their own beer. It’s ok, I’ve had three different ones and haven’t been like«yes» I want that again. Fish tacos were not authentic tasting and very similar to a Taco Bell tortilla with van de camps fish. I’ll never get that again. Will continue to go back as it is our local spot and attempt to try other options on the menu! The Décor is fun with several dog photos everywhere and everything is dog related you can throw peanuts from a dog bowl onto the floor. They have a dog friendly patio outside.

The food and service here is awesome! Killer wings among other menu items! Beer selection on tap is varied although my best friend’s peach beer is no longer served. He is sad. Anyway, this is a good family place, but please don’t seat your kids at the bar! Lots of tvs for sports viewing and a dog friendly patio. Peanuts in the shell addictive –beware! I always hit this place when I visit Queen Creek.

We come to Uncle Bear’s about once a week. It’s literally across the street from us and they have great daily specials. We usually go for the kids eat free Wednesday. There’s usually no wait time to be seated even though they are almost always fairly busy for dinner. Good food haven’t had anything I didn’t like. Good micro-brews too. My kids love being able to throw peanuts on the floor and it’s a good way to keep them occupied while we wait for the food. Overall Decent place no real complaints.

Review is written by a hangry customer who now has a second hand smoke headache. Way to be open till midnight but only serve alcohol and cigarettes after 10 pm. This place is barely one step above Queen Creek Café and Sports. Sick of all the smokers. The only thing Uncle Bears has going for it is the location. Excuse non-smokers for wanting to breath fresh air! This is the worst level of smoking I’ve ever had to deal with at outdoor seating. Oh and if you go after 10, you’re greeted by workers drinking and smoking.

I’ve been here a few times for lunch but this was the first time I went for dinner. There were no outside tables available but that’s OK. It was a Friday night. We ordered the chips and queso for an appetizer. Let me just say that the queso is great! My wife ordered a cup of coffee, which is her normal order anywhere we go. The coffee was ice cold. Even the cup. Yikes. The server fixed it as soon as we let her know. I ordered the«old fashioned» hamburger with Swiss added on and a side of onion rings. The burger was a good size and cooked perfect. I think that Uncle Bears has some of the best onion rings in the valley. My wife had the fajita salad. She liked it. Our friend had the luau burger and she said it was a great burger. The mix of flavors was awesome. Hmmm. Note to self: try that next. Overall we had a good experience. I’ll definitely eat there again. I’d like to try their prime rib sliders one day. They look really good. Just an add on. Dogs are allowed on the patio. It’s nice to see where the WHOLE family can go out to eat.
