Looked this up on Unilocal and make the 30 minute drive, the food was ok but it took 45 mins to get it and my husband’s was ice cold. The service was terrible as I had to keep flagging the girl down for drinks. Won’t be returning.

Have been here many times on Wing night. Fist time here for breakfast and it was excellent.
The green chili omelette was very tasty and were the biscuits and gravy the prices are fantastic as well

We were out exploring Saturday morning and when we got hungry, there were not too many choices so we chose this place. Service was excellent.
We sat outside and ordered breakfast. I had eggs and bacon and since I did not want potatoes or toast she suggested tomatoes, perfect.
My husband had biscuits and gravy with eggs and ham, the serving was huge and he almost finished it.
Reminds me of breakfast at Grandmas.
If we were local I would love to come back more often but the next time we are in the area, we will defiantly stop in again.

We went for breakfast this morning. Service was amazing, very quick and friendly. Get like I was in a small town restaurant. The food came quickly and was delicious. We split two news to try each and they came out all separated. Highly recommended. Open menu, you can order anything all day and they have good specials.

This is the place for some good down home cooked meal. My husband and I both had the chicken fried steak with salad. Everything was cooked to perfection. I have never had this good of chicken fried steak! There was no gristle. Our salads were cold and crisp. They have help yourself, no charge chips and salsa that was very tasty. We had to have take home boxes the portions were so large. I only marked down because it was rather loud.

We were greeted right when we walked in the door. Sat at the bar and had friendly and welcoming service. Had the combo sampler and nachos. Aside from the mozzarella sticks being just warm, the food was piping hot and delicious! The nachos were dynamite! Real melted cheese, refried beans and fresh jalapeño slices with home-​made tasting salsa available at the help-​yourself chip and salsa bar. Fun atmosphere with a cabana style décor! Beers were ice cold and we will definitely be back!

The fish on Friday nights is really good. They serve large portions and everything is made fresh. I have not had a bad meal here. I’ve tried the fish tacos, sandwiches, chicken fried steak, chimichangas and lots of other food and to me this is a great place to relax. They have karaōke once a month on the first saturday. They have several tvs to watch sports. And the waitresses are really cute. Cold beer on tap always. What more could you ask for.

Went here yesterday around 430. It was not busy at all. I ordered the Skippy burrito with out tomatoes or guacomole, I am allergic to guacomole. It took them 30 minutes to bring the burrito, a chicken sandwisch, tostado, and kids burger. I cut into the burrito and there was guacomole on it. I waited ten minutes for the waitress, which was not our waitress, because ours had vanished. A new burrito was brought out in ten minutes. The beef was burnt and had no flavor. Worst burrito i have ever tasted. The waitress never checked on us through the meal. As others psoted became sick within 2 hours. Steer clear of this place.

The first time we went there for dinner it was very good.
The service the best The owner was on site overseeing the employees. We looked forward to our return visit. BIG MISTAKE!!! we went back about 7pm on a Tuesday, the owner was not there. The employees did not care about providing good service. The service was slow, and they got it wrong, so another long wait for the right order. When we did get our order it was over cooked and I could not eat it. We paid and left If you do eat there, just hope the staff is supervised by the owner. It is sad that the owner can not depend on his employee to perform the way they do when he is there We have not been back.

This place has potential but the service sucks and it’s really not clean. Every time I go I can sit for long periods with an empty glass and NO server will ask if I want another. The owner walks past the mess and the shambles and thinks nothing of it.
This place is very unprofessional and really needs a manager. The food is fine and cheap like the drinks. If there was somewhere closer I would go. Don’t make a special trip. Plus the patio is a hidden gem that the owner is obviously uninterested in. Concrete seating, no music, falling apart. The patio is actually embarrassing.

This place has a lot of potential but the lack of organization for the servers is atrocious. Everyone on shift is running around like crazy doing everything. Everybody that works here apparently does everything from take orders to make drinks. The problem is no one appears to have any assignments. The result is some of the worst service ever. Everyone is super nice and the food was pretty good but I’m distracted by the long wait and confusing service.

The service was good; the place was decorated like «beach-​bar in Mexico.» The portions were large, the presentation was nice but the food was «flat.» Not very flavorful. Our table was dirty as was our silverware but they cleaned them after we asked. We had breakfast so I’m not sure what the rest of the menu is like.

Worst service I’ve ever had.
Went there tonight with my two little girls, husband, and parents. We ordered chicken tenders, hot roast beef sandwich, and two fish and chips.
35 mins later we got our food.
We had to ask the servers for more ranch, more water, more lemonade, more napkins… Then our to go box we had to ask for twice.
The waitresses were laughing and staring at us when we would ask for something else. Really uncomfortable. They obviously didn’t want to do anything other than chat behind the bar.
Awful service. Food was good, but those two waitresses and the horrible, slow service will mean we won’t go back again.
Too many restaurants to have to settle for this junk.
No thanks!

Food was really good so the stars go the the kitchen. Bartenders took forever to take our drink orders and even longer to take our food order and it wasn’t late we went at 12pm. Our server/​bartender was super rude and seemed irritated that we sat in her section. Good food but won’t go back.

First time here. After reading reviews, decided to stop by for a good breakfast while running around on morning errands. Absolutely did not disappoint! Had the French Toast Special w/​2 eggs & bacon for only $ 6. More than enough to eat, 2 full slices of Texas Toast w/​powdered sugar, eggs (w/​cheese), & 3 slices of bacon. I even had some salsa from the buffet and also had cheese on eggs, and was not charged extra like so many other places.
Waitress was very attentive, gave me a To Go menu and took the time to write down the daily specials. Like others stated, food not great (although the French toast was excellent) but excellent value. Will definitely return! Thank you Skippy’s. First rate service! Four –½ stars overall, rounded up to 5.

First time customer. Very attentive service from the moment I walked in the door. Excellent happy hour beer specials. However they don’t have it posted anywhere. Ordered the sampler appetizer and the wings were really good along with the mozzarella sticks and zucchini. This bar is tucked away in a strip mall, but you can tell they have lots of regulars. I will be back.

Update for AM Breakfast:
Love the attentive service, decent prices, & outdoor patio. The waitress checked on us frequently even though we were having breakfast. The breakfast was very good and the portions were decent. I would rate this place as number 2 or 3 best place for breakfast in the Queen Creek area.

Their gravy and biscuits are the best I’ve had since moving out of the South.
