My husband and I went here to eat because I was having a craving for fry bread. As we went in we commented to each other that this place was either going to be really good, or really bad. I don’t know it it is popular enough to make it onto the show, «Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives» but the food is definitely good enough! We received excellent service! They asked if it was our first time there and offered us samples to taste. I have been craving the food since, and look forward to my next visit!

A hidden gem in the desert. Better than chain fast food. Menu covers just about everything.

They have the best salsa EVER. This is our go-to place for carne asada Burros and bean and cheese burros as well. So delish!

I have been coming here for a long time, mostly since it is close. You wouldn’t know it by the gas station look, but the food is quite good. The only reason for leaving a star off the rating is that it’s not a place I want to hang out and eat at. I’m recommending it for a «to go» order.

This place, for me, is a little bit of a paradox. I can say that it is close to home, but that is not helpful to anyone other than me, and it’s enormously helpful to me. There just isn’t that MUCH to choose from where I live, on the border of QC and Gilbert, but there’s more & more every day– that which is corporate chain/franchise, that is. Hence, how supremely important it is to me to go places that is family– or privately-owned. I’m not 100% sure, but I do think this is family owned. Okay, so every time I’ve pulled up in front of this place, there have been people who might be day-laborers or just might be long-term loiterers with nowhere else to hang out. Either way, I’m uncomfortable to have my 9-year old son in the car in case I have to walk over to the trash can while I’m filling up. It’s also more expensive than any other gas station within a few minute’s drive. I don’t bring my kid here anymore, and my husband would NEVER tolerate this place. If you saw him there, it would be because he ran out of gas and had to walk there and it happened to be the only place he came across… so I only go alone– and that feels deeply uncomfortable too, for reasons it is hard to explain. ***That said, I have also had pretty much the best breakfast burrito of my LIFETIME here. It was indescribably delicious.*** So it is with many weird feelings that I ever go here… but then the weird feelings go away when I eat of their grill things. It is with many more weird feelings that I’m giving the first and only three-star Unilocal review ever… and yet I’ll be back… it’s like my dirty little secret. Well… I guess not so secret now.

I have been going this market for the last five years and have had the privilege to see it develop into a bigger and better stop to get lunch mostly but some other random but useful products. Besides lunch they have(like most gas stations) toiletry items, snacks, alcohol/beer, and other small items, but unlike most gas stations, they have rent-able movies(not red box), cleaning items, Mexican candy, and, not to mention, bongs and spices. Over time they have also added some decorations that they didn’t have five years ago. Instead of an old Pepsi menu board on a hung up plank of wood, there are 3 nice and new looking flat-screen t.v.s mounted up showing the menu and occasionally transitioning to a picture of one of the meals. They have re-done the dining area to a yellow walled, corona sponsored, Rocky Point restaurant looking eating area with orange tables. The outside has replaced door and window shading to a nice maroon color as opposed to the old, ripped, greenish ones. But, what makes Diamond Dot a «diamond in the rough,»(as stated by Unilocal user, Larry B.) is it’s lotus flower worthy, addictive food. I personally prefer their Mexican menu, but everything else is still outstanding. Their burritos are absolutely delicious and what makes it legendary, is their salsa sauce that it comes with. It has the perfect balance of sweet freshness and a spicy zing to it. If you dip your burrito in the sauce like I do, sadness ceases to exist, the sun/moon smiles down you, and the air becomes weightless with the relaxing scent of wine and roses for the remaining duration of your burrito. Okay, that might be an exaggeration but the point has been made. Diamond Dot Market has to be fit into your scheduled or, if nothing else, at least your bucket list.

This place has great food. I haven’t had anything on their menu so far that I’ve disliked. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, you picked a winner with this place!

Diamond Dot Market is definitely a «Diamond in the rough». From the outside it appears to be one of those places that you would be excited to see if you are about to run out of gas or you find yourself in desperate need of a cold soda, but what really sets this place apart is the grill. They offer an extensive menu from a variety of burger combinations(high stacked Texas burger with a fried egg) to, Philly cheese steak sandwiches, subs, fish and chips, Gyros, Indian Fry bread, an extensive burrito selection, taco salad bowls, and a number of Mexican combo dinners. The quality, price and quantity are excellent! If you live in the area, this is a good choice for a quick takeout dinner or that morning breakfast burrito to start your day off. You can even call ahead, place your order and have it ready when you arrive. It’s definitely one of the better fast food type choices in the area. Of course they also offer a good selection of the usual«mini-market» type items, and a few items that you might not expect. We will definitely be back.

We heard that have great burritos, so we were in the area, so decided to stop. Customer service was ok, and the burritos were a little below a 3, probably a 2.5. I got a green chili burrito and Megan got a carne asada burrito. Mine was ok, a little bit overfloured. Too much thickening, not enough meat. Megan’s carne was dry. Would I ever stop here again, no

Good breakfast burrito, but if push comes to shove I am going to stick with Jims Burrito for my breakfast burritos instead. This place was dirty and there is not much sitting room and since they cook it when you order it(which is a plus) it takes a long time to get it. I will get burritos here again, but not with the family, and not to sit and stay there and eat.

Here it is. they get four stars because I love their breakfast burritos and because they are the closest place to my house to get fuel in a pinch, but you will pay a premium and may have to wait for a local farmer to get his tractor out of the way to get to the pump. Not the cleanest feeling place in the world for sure, but I do like that its family owned and they always seem to remember me. QC is still considered far away, but we have the small town feel going for us, which to me is super cool, and this place is an example of that!
