Papa John’s Pizza

Order a large pizza with mushroom tonight and everything was perfect. It seems they have improved upon their ingredients because the sauce was great!

Order here on occasion. They have deals with our local sports teams winning. So those days I order on occasion. Wanted to commend them on my most recent order.
I had ordered a large pizza and didn’t pick up for 2 hours. The gentlemen at the store told me he will make me another pizza because my order was cold.
Great service, and served with a smile. Love it.

The normal, fantastic Papa John’s Pizza with the great crust! The place isn’t really for eating there as it is pretty small, but I’ve seen smaller. The service is friendly as their prices weren’t too expensive either.

We were very happy to have Papa Johns move in to the area, as we thought it would be nice to have another pizza place with a delivery option, also, we remembered it to be very tasty from past experience. First of all, I have no idea what happened, but I tried to order online and I finally saw where I could change it to ‘delivery’ and entered my address and credit card to pre-​pay, and in the end, It said I could pick my pizza up in 30 – 35 minutes, and it said I would get an email with an approximate pick up time. So, I didn’t get delivery afterall, and I never got any email telling me when it would be ready. Perhaps all of this was user error on my part, but given that I pretty much spend way too much time on a computer, I don’t think so.
So, I left in 30 minutes to go pick it up, it was ready. It was a very small looking «large’, MUCH smaller than our local favorite pizzarias, and over $ 14 with tax. Over priced for what we got for sure. It was half portabello mushroom, half plain. Judging by the amount of mushrooms we got on our pizza, you would think there was a ¹⁄₈ option for toppings, and maybe we selected that by accident? They were SUPER chinsy with the mushrooms, it was ridiculous. Looking down at the pie, the only mushrooms were all the way towards the outer edges, maybe ⁴⁄₅ tiny pieces per slice!!! Whatever I paid for that amount of topping was way too much.
Moving on to the taste, nothing to write home to momma about, and we have such amazing selections where we live, we won’t be returning. No pulling the slice away from your mouth with delicious melty cheese stretching till it breaks off, it wasn’t melty AT ALL, you just bit thru it, like a hard piece of cheese. We had our hopes up, and then, they were dashed, just like that. Oh well, lesson learned. Back to the WONDERFUL mom and pop pizzerias we are so lucky to have around here.
