Has anyone ever had their chicken?. It’s pretty weird. Always a stringy rubbery peice and I’ve had a couple times. I’ve eaten chicken all my life to only experience this at Gio’s is kinda concerning. My office loves ordering from them so I guess I’m stuck with them and that’s not too bad.

Had some takeout Friday night. We have had the pizza and some pasta dishes there before. For Quakertown the food is good. Well it was $ 18.00 each for our veal parm dinners„ WHERE’S THEVEAL !!! The portion is very small, the VEAL plenty of pasta and bread. I’ll never order it again.

My girlfriend and her father have been coming here for years so I had to find out for myself what kept them coming back. Being a pizzeria it wasn’t much of a dining experience, but I noticed management was very personable, especially to their returning patrons. I started with their Bruschetta Al Forno. Good, but not great. Even though the main ingredient in any bruschetta dish is tomatoes, they were just overwhelming. I felt like I was eating a plain tomato. For dinner I ordered Veal Parmesan with penne pasta. The entrée was served with garlic knots(side) and Italian Wedding soup(soup or salad). Other than the veal being a little chewy, everything was pretty good. I wouldn’t rush to come back here, especially because it’s a decent drive from my house, but when I’m back in the Quakertown area, I wouldn’t mind coming back.

I love this place. There aren’t many places you can go on a Friday night and only spent twenty dollars for meal for two. I am not a huge fan of their pizza, a bit saucy, but I am not a huge fan of pizza either. I really love their cheesesteaks though, if you like spicy get a hot johnny, wow is it good. Be warned it is true to its name! For the service part I don’t know what the hell the rage reviewers are on about. This is the friendliest italian place in the area. At the pizza place close to my house they treat you like crap, but the food is decent, here its not like that at all. All the wait staff is friendly, the people behind the counter are even nicer. There is one lady in particular, I don’t know her name, and she is always so nice and talks to me the whole time I wait for my food. Plus who doesn’t want to eat at a place where the kitchen staff is talking in italian. Forger about it. This place is awesome!

Was referred to Giovanni’s by a local businessman while traveling. I was hungry for a Philly Cheesesteak but no time to travel to center city for the famous named places. I was intrigued by the horseradish cheesesteak and decided to give it a try. WOW! It was great! Soft, fresh roll, juicy beef, onions, provolone, and the horseradish flavor was very strong…(just how I like it) but not too overpowering. Added a side of onion rings, and it made a heavenly lunch. Thank you!

8÷3÷20152:40PM Went in for a fast lunch sat down and male waiter ask what we wanted to drink. I said I wanted the Monday lunchmeat hoagie special with soda for $ 5.25 and ask specifically if it came with orange soda? He came back with water for my companion and one orange soda for me. I am glad I did not open the soda as the female waitress ask what I wanted and I told her the Monday Special. She said well than you have to pay full price for the orange soda that does not come with the special? I said than why does your help not know what is going on? It’s a real shame that these pizza places hire unskilled help that don’t know the menu or what their job is. I changed my order to one slice of pizza and did not take one bite of it(DIDNOTSMELLGOODATALL). When the waitress put my plate down she did it in a real snotty way and slid it in front of me and kept on walking ??? Real nice service. I would never go back and will tell all my local friends not to go there either. It’s not that I had to pay full price for the soda, it is all about people not knowing their job. You would think the owner or manager would have ask what the problem was but I guess he was too busy.

Horrible service it says just sit down but no one pays attention and then they forget your there 50 mins waiting for a plain pizza seriously? And the they rush and food half cooked ridiculous. Don’t recommend can’t be that hard to run a pizza restaurant with plenty of workers standing around.

Currently, I write this as I am dumping out the worst pizza ever. To many tomatoes(I mean a gross amount to make the pizza soggy), to much garlic(I’m sweating it out as I type), and not cooked enough. Also, hands down the worst onion rings I ever had or seen in my life. I honestly only ate it because I was hungry and to lazy to drive the 17 minute round trip. Do yourself a favorite pick up a Digiorno or Ellios. 30 times better than their crap.

First time here with the family because our son wanted pizza. It’s a local mom and pop pizzeria. They were busy, very busy on a Saturday night. the place was half filled with customers but people were coming in for take outs every other minute. I’ll excuse them for their slow service as they were busy. Food was good. We ordered cheese ravioli, plain service, old fashioned Sicilian slice, chicken fingers, grilled chicken Caesar wrap. My the pizza was good but too oily.

When we moved here about 5 years ago we did the obvious — searched for«our» new go to pizza joint! We quickly found it in Giovanni’s. I really love the buffalo chicken pizza and the margherita. Their plain and pepperoni are staples and done to perfection — great dough, great sauce, good amount of cheese. I’ve never sat in to eat, we always get take out, but there are always many full tables when I’m picking up!

Great food. Shitty service. I’ve seen cows chew their curd more politely than my crispy critter of a waitress.

have eaten here several times over the past year. this place is as good as it gets. not fancy, not pretentious, looks to be your average strip mall pizza joint. however, the food is outstanding, the specialty items on the menu are creative and tasty, and the prices are very good. definitely two thumbs up!

My wife and I tried this place out over this past weekend for the first time. We got there on the early side, around 5:30…and I’m glad we did! The place gets packed quick and by 6:15 there is a line out the door. I don’t remember our server’s name, but she was an absolute sweetheart. We started with the Fried Calamari, big mistake. The crust/coating was way too thick, and overdone. The calamari had that tough, chewy feel… very disappointed. Next up was the cheese pie. The pizza dough they use is excellent, crisp and chewy. Their sauce is not overly seasoned, and in terms of balance leans toward the sweet side. fantastic mix of cheese, cooked to perfection. Great prices, BYO, we will be back. Saw a couple sandwiches and salads come out and they looked terrific. Not sure this is the BEST pizza in the area, but certainly in my top three!

Simply the best pizza in Quakertown. When we want pizza it is always from Giovanni’s. When you take out a large pizza they stamp the box and you collect 15 stamps and you get a free pizza. We have gotten many free pizzas over the years so that shows you how many pizzas we have bought there.

Nice place pizza joint to have dinner. They have daily specials and you can’t beat Tuesdays! Salad, garlic knots, Ravioli, and a glass of complimentary wine for under $ 7! I have never had bad food at this establishment. Booths and tables are available.
