Toscanos Italian Grill

Awesomest clams ever. and the presentation? Outstanding. Had a 12TH martini for desert. OMG!!! I could live on those! Incredible menu, service awesome and food delectable!

I’ve driven past here many times and have thought about trying it, but tonight I tried it for the first time while catching up with a friend, and I have to say it was an exquisite experience! Our waitress was knowledgeable about their wines, and they had a great selection, as well as a nice selection of mixed drinks. My friend and I opted to each have a «small plate» and a small salad. My friend got the chef special of salmon street tacos and a blackberry salad. She was very impressed. I got the small caesar salad, the homemade croutons were delicious, and the steak medallions (3 small medallions each prepared with a different type of butter topping), and I’ll say, the steak was delicious! I was especially impressed as this isn’t a steak house. I also asked for a side of alfredo sauce for with the rosemary bread (the balsamic vinegar that came with was a little strong for my taste, but that’s just how my taste runs, it was a good balsamic) and the alfredo was soooo good, almost as good as mine ;-) All in all, this was a very enjoyable experience, both food-​wise and atmosphere. I could actually hold a conversation without having to yell.

Wife and I have dined here on multiple occasions. Always pleased. Ask for Stephanie, by far one of the friendliest and most helpful waitresses we have had the privilege of being served by!

Very good. Had the wife’s XXth bithday dinner here and it was great. I always want to go here because of the outdoor seating. Everyone looks so happy out there.

Amazing food and even better service. I highly recommend this quaint little spot. The ingredients are fresh and the staff are incredibly accommodating. A surprise is that they are very kid friendly despite what others have posted and recommended.

I had reservations at 5:15, and running late with my friends, they were so lenient and helpful with times for my dinner plans.
It was prom night so we wanted a nice dinner. This place had amazing service, and the prices were not bad. The food was amazing and there was complimentary bread. Even when sharing food, they split the meal in half instead of being frustrated for not eating more.
All in all, a stressful night was uplifted after dinner, and they helped us get there. I would totally recommend to pasta lovers.

Went looking for some Italian food one night and found Toscano’s. I had never heard of it, neither had my girlfriend, but we decided to give it a go.
Wow, this place is phenomenal! I stuck to chef specialty and had a Blood Orange, brandy, chicken rizzoto. We decided to also try the prosciutto wrapped mozzarella and fell in love with it. Our final treat was a slice of blood orange cheesecake to split. This was one of the best cheesecakes I’ve tried and the slice was big enough for three people.
We’ve found a new favorite and will be coming back for many more date nights. If you’re looking for a nice place with great food and wine selections then this is the place. The outside patio gives a great view of Mt. Rainier during the day as well.

Toscanos!
So, we’re driving around Puyallup looking for this area, and my GPS tells me to turn into this business-​ish looking plaza and lo and behold, there she lay — Toscanos.
We walked in and immediately we were impressed at how classy this place seemed. Theme-​appropriate fake bushes lit up with warm Christmas string lights. Then you enter a dimly lit room with Frank Sinatra singing in the background. I felt like a 100 bucks. Despite the inside décor, we decided to sit outside. T’was a warm sunny day with a beautiful view of Mt Rainier. Every once in a while a train would zip by tooting its horn. The mix of warm-​sunny weather, beautiful views of Mt. Rainier, and trains running past you brought the customer a glimpse of euphoria — like you were eating in a country side restaurant in Italy.
The table we were seated with was very wobbly, but my fiancé’s engineering skills showed the table who’s boss.
We ended up waiting a little bit for our server — no biggie.
Ordered a Stella, waited a little bit more than I was hoping I would — tiny biggie.
They brought out bread, oil and vinegar. The bread was delicious. Warm and chewy; the vinegar and oil just made the bread taste 10 times better! I would come here to drink beer and eat this bread.
Ordered our food: I got the Cioppino. This is the first time I’ve had Cioppino and I was impressed with it. Lots of seafood — cuddle fish (or squid), chunks of fish, shrimp, clams frolicking in a spicy tomato sauce complimented by a well toasted bread that looked like it was sinking in the sauce. One thing that bothered me was the saltiness of this dish. A little more salty than I like.
My fiancé got this chicken and shrimp penne pasta in a caper, butter, garlic sauce. It was a very savory dish. The ingredients meshed well together.
Good place. Would definitely come here again.

Very mediocre food… I’d say I wasted my money going here. Definitely not a hot shot place. I ordered the Pork loin alla Marsala, and it didn’t go together with the pasta and had no flavor at all. Very disappointing honestly.

Puyallup doesn’t really have great Italian food, period. That being said, if you want a nicer place for dinner, it is a nice little venue with a more upscale atmosphere than you’ll find at many other places in town. Overall, I’d give the food a B; you won’t be disappointed, and there’s a good chance you’ll go back. However, for me, it’s not a place that I get a «hankering» for a lot. On my most recent trip I had the Cioppino, which I’ve ordered at this venue on a number of occasions. On this trip, the dish was a bit different than it’s usual presentation, with the addition of spinach, which I enjoyed. However, it was a little too heavy-​handed on the spice level– as someone who enjoys spicy food, this burned the whole way down, and for a while after finishing.

The food was good but a little pricey for the portion. Clean neat restaurant, nice staff and setting. At the time we went in it was a little after the normal lunch hour that being the case there were only a few occupied tables but we still had a fairly long wait before we were served our lunch. I would go back.

I guess i have to select a star but if it was up to me I wouldn’t give it anything. I have not tasted their food but baste on their employee’s and phone ethics I wont bother. I called to try and make a reservation I was hung up on twice when I could clearly hear people talking in the back ground. I tried again about ½ hrs later and got a girl that sounded like I was a bother and was very RUDE, when I asked about another time she preceded to start talking to another girl and hung up on me. I will never try their food if that is the kind of service they have. Get employees that enjoy dealing with people and enjoy their job.

I loved the food, very authentic Italian cuisine and a lovely atmosphere to go with it. The only reason I am giving it this restaurant 4 stars is becuase the portion sizing was a little on the mediocre side. Dish a bit more and you’ll have my 5!

Great service and Alisha was an amazing server. I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

I was very disappointed in my meal. The risotto was under cooked and my seafood was actually raw and cold. I sent it back and it was hot but taste was bland and not worth ordering the dish. I’ve had good luck there in the past but this was aweful.

Nicely done. Very nice wine and food. Delightful and very good service. Nice way to end a Friday. A little short on the steak in the salad and the chicken. On review my quest had me really stop and consider everything. Two people $ 86 of course that includes A bottle of wine a salad and Penne Chicken which was unremarkable. There was more cauliflower than chicken and under consideration the spinach with steak? 4 small slices of steak. So no not really I was just glad it was Friday. Lovely table nice atmosphere but for a bill no. Sorry great place for happy hour and lunch.

Had a fantastic dinner here tonight. Salads were fresh and delicious and our entre was excellent. Server was very friendly.
The décor is nice with a fireplace located along the wall in about the center. The have a small bar area with one TV.
Their happy hour menu looked great.

This restaurant is a must-​try!
The food is delicious and the desserts are out of this world. Every server we encountered was extremely helpful and the waiting time was reasonable. The food came quickly and we got our water and lemonade refills quickly. If you’re in Puyallup, definitely stop by and order one of their signature dishes.
Reasonably priced and ridiculously delicious.

After 2 years of getting email invites and anniversary cards in the mail, my hubbs and I finally decided to try it. I called and made a reservation. So here goes.
I had the chicken parm. The squash had some sort of flavor that was just an explosion of flavorful heaven in my mouth. The sauce was sooooooooo frieckin good. the chicken was juicy and the edges crisp. Perfect portion. My Mojito was poured perfectly with no over pouring.
Hubbs had the spicy cialpino. First bite was amazing. Perfect portions. It was a very sweet spicy. It was definitely not one of those uncomfortable spicy flavors that makes your food less enjoyable. It was one of those spicy that you want to just keep eating.
The waitress came over at the end and brought us a couple of their homemade raspberry truffles. OMG!!! Amazing! She also brought a little cake for our anniversary. Great service, great food, great drinks.
Can’t wait to be back!!!
