I really wanted to like this thrift store but thats impossible when there is barely ever anything worth buying. I’m a big goodwill and thrift store shopper and the first thing I do when I move to a new state is look for them. I look through the clothes most often and the clothes here are dirty, with holes, and way overstretched. Yes I understand its a thrift store but there has to be some kind of selective processing before putting stuff out. I get the feeling that they put out every single article of clothing that comes in. Now just like a lot of people out there I like to search for name brand clothes, high end brands. I’ve come across many in all the thrift stores I’ve visited, not this one. I can’t even find a pair of American Eagle jeans or Hollister(not necessarily high end but just an example). I know that donations can vary but to NEVER have any kind of name brand clothing seems strange to me. I see a lot of young people that work there and I do get the distinct impression that they get first pick of everything that comes in, which I have nothing against but leave something for the rest of us at least! I stopped going here after diligently going for 6 months and I just never found anything but stuff that I would have thrown in the garbage if I’d had a choice to donate or trash. I have donated here many times though cause I still would rather these non profits get my very gently used items than the overpriced goodwills in the area.
