South Hill Shoe Repair & Alteration

My initial surprise when I went to this shop (which is located in part of their home) was that they were not very friendly. I took a pair of boots to this shop and asked that they be stretched out. They were leather boots and leather stretches. I asked they they stretch out the top part of the boot because they were snug around my calves and they said they could not do that. I then asked them if they would at least stretch them out around the foot area. They said they could do that and so I was told to wait a week and come back. I waited longer than a week and they were not stretched out at all. I also found several marks on the boots that were not there when I dropped them off, forcing me to bring them home and try and clean them up. They still charged me. I would not recommend this shop.
