An employee here told me I was trespassing if wasn’t buying a tree, and to stop taking pictures of my family while I was there, unless I buy a tree. Then this same male employee told my friend to watch her attitude because she informed the guy that she just bought a Christmas Tree there a week ago. Thanks for ruining our day Guy! We took our kids down the street and bought a beautiful Tree from the other farm, they are much nicer, and let us take all the family photos with our babies and their grandma that we wanted. Trespassing? come on is a Tree farm, and it was OPEN but I guess, just not for us

It’s a morning to noon kinda place. We arrived at Red Barn Tree farm at 250PM this afternoon. It took us until 320 to drive the onto the property and park. The traffic jam was poorly managed and Parking spots were few and far between as 2⁄3 of their avaiable parking was out of commission due lots of churned mud no gravel. Immediately after we got out of the car we saw signs stating that the cutting lots were now closed for the day but we could buy precut trees. The business posts that they are open until four but in truth they are done at 3 or so. They need to close the gates at 3 if that’s when they are done and change the posted hours on their website to say they close at 3. We are unlikely to return.

These guys run the place on the power of past glories. They close an hour early and try to get you to buy a pre cut tree instead of cutting your own. I saw so many disappointed families. We went down the road instead. We won’t go again to this place

Just like I remember, MOSTLY! They still have the train, the prices are just as good as any boring tree«lot» in a McLendons or parking lot, they’ve the gift shop and there is now a cute little trailer serving up fresh mini donuts and cocoa, cider or coffee! Bring CASH for the little treats. They take plastic for the trees if you prefer. I LOVELOVELOVETHISPLACE! It was neat to take the kids where I remember and have fond memories and traditions

Unbelievably RUDE people! DONOTGOHERE! My family will NEVER be back! I would never have believed this place was as awful as it is if I hadn’t experienced it for myself. Save yourself & your family the heartache. Do not go here for a fun experience! You will be met with unfriendly, rude, impatient, unhelpful, people. After I paid $ 70 for our tree. I asked one of the men outside who was taking pictures of our car with the huge tree on it if he would mind taking a picture of my husband, myself and our new baby in front of the car. He said, «you’ve got it up there I’m done,» and walked away. This is after he was just taking pictures of our car for himself! Then, while my husband was taking a picture of me and the baby in front of the car, a different person actually yelled at us from her car as she was driving out«you’ve got your tree, you’ve taken your picture, now go! The farm is closed!» It wasn’t too late to purchase a tree 5 minutes ago… The woman wasn’t yelling at me when she was taking my money… But we were yelled at for taking a picture on front of the red barn with our Christmas tree. Our first clue should have been when one of the women in the shop denied my husband a candy cane when he ran back to the front of the lot to throw an empty cup away. He asked if he could buy two of them and she informed him that they were only for people buying a tree. What on earth is this that about? Why else would we come to a tree farm? To buy two candy canes? A woman who had just finished purchasing a tree asked if she could get her candy canes and then offered them to my husband. We thought the behavior was a little strange, but shrugged it off and went back to searching for our tree. We were wrong to stay. Never have I experienced a business that treated my family so poorly. We go to get a tree for the holidays every year and have been to great u-cut tree farms in the past. People who have the spirit of the season in their hearts and generally enjoy what they do. I don’t leave bad reviews for ANY business with sub-par service, but I have made an exception for a business that goes the extra mile to hurt their customers and ruin what is supposed to be a fun experience. Shame on you who run the Red Barn Tree farm. It is a disgrace and I would not and will not EVER subject myself or my children to that kind of treatment during the holidays or at any other time. I wish I had seen the other reviews before coming here. Hopefully these comments will help people in the future. Happy holidays to you and yours.
