McDonald’s

If I could give a zero I would! I have tried over and over at this location because it’s close to home and each time it manages to get worse. From the crack heads that are hanging out all over the inside and the outside to the rude customer service! Done. If I owned this building I would just lock the doors now. Man I guess they don’t care that they have an awful reputation. Oh well. I tried but I will gladly not be returning and spending my money else where.

SUPER SLOW! Do not go to this McDonald’s unless you want to wait for 20 minutes and be forgotten.
We go to this McDonald’s between 4 – 6 am for breakfast, so there really isn’t anyone there. Every time we go to this McDonald’s, we are always asked to pull up into one of the waiting spots for our food and they tell us it’ll be out in 2 minutes, which is one of their biggest lies. We wait and 10 minutes go by and we still haven’t gotten our food. Usually six cars go through the drive thru and get their food while we are waiting for them to come out with ours. Twice we’ve had to go in to get our food and they always have it ready. Sometimes they have another person pull up, so I figured that they are just waiting for their food to be done so they don’t have to make two trips because whenever we have waited and not had to inside, they also bring the other car’s food out too.
I hate going to this McDonald’s and I try to avoid it the best I can. Because I live in a small town, our McDonald’s isn’t opened 24 hours, so this McDonald’s is the only option because it’s closest. I don’t expect a good trip though every time I go.
This McDonald’s has gotten really bad. They need new management and employees or something. If I could, I’d give this McDonald’s 0 stars because it sucks that bad. I recommend you don’t go to this McDonald’s and if you do, you’ll probably regret it.

Terrible service in the drive thru! I ordered something with NO ketchup & then she put EXTRA ketchup on the screen… When I corrected her & said she had gotten it wrong on the screen, she said that I was rude & they wouldn’t serve us… Uhm, excuse me? All I said was «hey I said no ketchup, not extra» giiiiiive me a break.

Sooooo slowwwww! Ever since that second lane was added the wait times are ridiculous!

It’s a McDonalds so it is what it is. Most of the food is ok except I like their fries least of anyone’s. My biggest complaint is that when you come here during off hours they only cook a couple of things on the menu? 3:45a.m. rolled in there the other night and they were only cooking breakfast burritos and the biscuit thing with sausage. No cheese, no bacon no egg, just sausage. They were cooking one thing as well but forget what they said. This isn’t the first time this has happened to me there. Two reader boards of food and they are only doing three things… yeah, went a little way out of my way to Jack’s and they had it all going. Mickey D’s should just roll it in after midnight and reopen for lunch or something. No point in going to this place off hours.

We normally use drive thru but decided to eat inside.
As we were eating, employees were cleaning tables and asking how everything was — nice touch and not what I think of when eating McDonalds. My son loves his apple slices and happy meal.

If I could rate negative stars I would. This McDonald’s used to be one of the cleanest around. But enter since they remodeled it’s filthy. I walked in here tonight and was hit with the most horrible sour stench. As I approached the counter, there I saw the culprit, the nasty mop bucket with dirty mops soaking in filthy water. It must have been sitting there waiting for an employee to use. It was obvious it hadn’t been used for quite some time by the look of the floor.

Ok, when I review fast food places I am really not that nice about it, but honestly, after ALL the times that I’ve been here, I have never once had a nearly close to bad experience. First off, since all of the food tastes the same, this is just about everything else. Service is actually fine, especially since it’s just a bunch of teenagers behind the counter. The only thing is, like many Unilocalers have already said, the drive thru can sometimes get annoyingly long and time-​consuming. Inside, it’s been newly renovated so it’s really cool and cozy in there :) I would recommend going sitting toward the right corridor as you walk in as they’ve got some great and cool seating back there that isn’t used nearly as much. Another con that I have is that from the times we stopped in here for «late night munchies» there have been some SKETCHY people hanging in and around this place. But overall, this place is better than most fast food places in my opinion! I would recommend and will continue coming here on a occasional basis!

I was here at six pm, during the dinner rush. The drive thru was backed up to the street so I parked and went inside. On the way in I counted SEVEN people on their break at once, one of whom was wearing a purple button down shirt and seemed to be the manager. Four of them, including the manager, were smoking by the front door. That is gross and unprofessional, not to mention illegal.
The line inside snaked out the door but went quickly. I overheard someone behind the counter mention the drive thru line and ask if the drive thru team needed help, which they clearly did. The boy refused the help. «No,» he said. «We’re fine.»
They forgot my drink, but I got it and my food surprisingly quickly. The drink station was nasty and the garbage was overflowing. When I went back to my car the same people were still waiting in the drive thru.
For a store that teems with workers, it is extremely inefficiently run. I’ve never been so appalled by any place that bears the McDonalds insignia.

I cannot believe the volume that they sell this food in. In a minute we wanted to notice that he just order without paying attention to value menu stuff you can spend more money on McDonalds on the meal in a lot of the lower price down restaurants.

I suppose people don’t read McD’s reviews on Unilocal but I was so upset the other day I promised myself I’d do this even so.
All I wanted was a vanilla cone, and I was on my way back to the office, so I was a bit rushed. I timed this visit through the drive-​through. It took me 18 MINUTES to get a vanilla cone!
The staff taking my money was uncommunicative and barely made eye contact. The girl handing me my cone was surly. The cone was misshapen and half melted.
If you’re looking for crowds, messed up food, surly wait staff, then this is the place for you.
I will never again visit this store.

This location was just remodeled and part of that remodel includes the new and improved dual lane system. Which I hate, especially when it seems like it’s one person alternating between the two. It’s always a damn gamble and you either win or lose. My most recent visit I won because the guy in the other lane sat through two cars, one of which was mine. Poor fella…
But besides the annoying two lane drive thru system, the rest of the visit was pretty weak. Seemed to be about a ten minute wait including the initial wait to get to the ordering box. Food was par, not great, not bad.
I’ll stop by when I need a quick fix since there isn’t much to choose from in downtown Puyallup, but I’ll only stop if I have to and I’ll probably try the inside if I do…

Busy, noisy and rowdy at this McDonalds. We don’t usually eat inside but today we were walking from the pioneer park, so we did. They messed up on our order (hey it happens) but they fixed it immediately after I told them the error. The fries we received were old, cold and soggy. The inside of the restaurant hasn’t been updated since the early 90’s probably, so it’s kinda filthy, as is what happens when furniture is over two decades old.
Probably won’t go here again.
Oh yea — the wi-​fi is slower than 3G so you’re better off not connecting to it at all.
