DeWitt Landscaping

We went through several landscaping companies before finding Dewitt’s. This company is excellent. We have been with them for over a year and are very happy. We did have a minor problem at one point and it was addressed and corrected immediately with excellent customer service. When I overflow my yard waste container, the guys always take my extra waste with them — even fairly large branches that I planned to drive to the dump! I highly recommend this service, I am not sure you could find better.

I bought a Living Social deal for 6 lawn mowing visits for lots up to 12,000 sq ft. When I called they told me that my lot was over 12,000 sq ft. I said there was no way my lot was over 12,000 sq ft and he informed me that they don’t just look at the grass, they look at the size of the WHOLE lot including where the house and driveway sit. I asked why they care how much pavement I have or how big my house is when they are only going to mow THE GRASS. He said that’s just how they do things and refused to come honor the deal. I already fired my previous landscaping company so now my grass is a foot tall and Living Social wants to credit my account $ 120 in Deal Bucks. Thanks a lot for being deceptive.
UPDATE: I just got a phone call from DeWitt Landscaping regarding this review. I see their point, the ad did say «lots up to 12,000 sq ft» I assumed this meant the grass lot (since that’s all they mow), not my whole property. I think it’s deceptive and as a result, it left me with a yard that was a PITA to mow. Since we already had this debate when I tried to schedule service and I didn’t feel like arguing again, I just hung up. On the plus side, Living Social was able to give me my money back.
