I was a patient of Dr. Johns in the Auburn office years ago.
I also felt swindled as a few other reviews on here. I had asked if they take my insurance (I was told yes) but they failed to mention they were an out-of-network provider. Needless to say, I had a large portion of my bills I was responsible for.
The biggest reason I’m giving 1 star is the fact that they gave me a GREY crown. Right in the front! They would not replace the awful colored crown (unless I paid for it) and I still had to pay a ton of money!
There office was nice with all the new and updated equipment — obviously provided by past patients.
My mom had an appointment scheduled and I told her «No! Do NOT go to them!» Thank goodness she’s canceling.

Felt swindled. Prices are not reasonable for low income persons. I was told I needed a panoramic x ray, but that the price would be out of pocket because my insurance wouldn’t cover it. Red flag, but I was in the chair, bibbed up when told about this, not in the lobby where I might feel more comfortable to ask questions. It was almost like a duress tactic where my anxiety was so high I would agree to pay anything! When the dentist was asked by the hygienist if he wanted to see the $ 80 panoramic x ray he said, «I guess since you took it!» I felt like I had been taken advantage of by being counseled on paying for an x ray that was unnecessary, not to mention the disregard for me as a patient. I will not return!
