This is a classic case of «I would give them negative stars if possible». It was like we were troubling them to do their job. FYI guys, if you hate your crap job, go get a new one. Please do yourself a favor and choose a different company for your escrow needs.

I’m a Real Estate broker in Washington and I have always enjoyed working with Chicago title. However, the puyallup office was the hardest to work with. The escrow officer would never return my phone calls, took days to reply to my emails, she was tough to get a hold of and in this business, the worst thing is to have to work with someone and depend on someone who lacks communication skills. I think next time I have a transaction in this area, I will surely use another title company.

I can’t even say how horrible it was trying to work with them and our agent. How do you err on the side of caution by leaving a SPOUSE off the title? Mistress? Sure, leave her off the title. I was a first time home buyer, using a power of attorney for my deployed spouse, and out of state. Yet they made everything as hard as possible.
On top of all that, they were judgmental and rude. I don’t judge people based on appearance, they do.
