Stay away! Horrible install. Uneven stain in some places. Floor was cracking like ice after the install. Called Johnny Blair and asked him to come out and look at why the floor was cracking in the new rooms he installed, but not in the existing rooms he refinished. Said I was concerned that some of the boards he installed are cupping up at their edges. His response was this will go away. It never did. An apparent cause of the poor install could be when his workers told me to turn off the heat as to not blow dust, then they left the sliding glass doors open, when temperatures dropped and it rained. This let moisture into the wood and now has permanently marred the install of the floor. I have heard very positive feedback about this company, but looks like it really depends on who shows up in the install crew.

Very flexible, very nice and very quick in doing a beautiful job refinishing floors. The only issue we have is the fact that you should NOT put trim up BEFORE you get your floors redone… there are lacquer spots on the trim throughout the house… SAD :(I would highly recommend them to anyone redoing floors though as again, they do a beautiful job and the flush vent covers are gorgeous as well.
