The food — top notch, the service — you won’t find better anywhere, the entertainment — unlike any on the island. Their fresh squeezed drinks… THEBEST !! They have the best margarita I have had anywhere !!! Don’t believe me? Try it yourself. A must try on the island. Cheers !

This place was a real treat. The food was outstanding– one of the best burgers I’ve ever had and some of the best wings outside Buffalo. The owners were very friendly, chatty and helpful. Décor of the place is as you would expect at an mid– to upscale bar/restaurant on a lake island with a fishing theme. The ceiling wood was gorgeous. We will be back the next time we are in Put-In-Bay

Well when in Put in Bay you go visit every spot on the island as long as you can be upright. I wandered into this spot with my partner in crime for a drink and then after reviewing their menu we knew we’d have to return for eats. Well upon our return we did exactly that. I ordered the Asiago crusted chicken sandwich that had fire roasted tomatoes, spinach, and mayo on a multi-grain bread and fresh cut fries. It was very tasty and reminded me of the Passport Café. Very fresh and tasty I couldn’t even finish a half of the sandwich so we took it back to our room because it was that good. Hubby had the Banh Mie. It was beef kimchi jalapeño mayo sliced carrots on a Cuban roll with fresh cut fries. He ate the whole thing so there were no leftovers to take home. They also have live entertainment and the band was very good. They were called Hey Monea. We also got to see part of Ray Foggs skit and he was pretty funny. The bar is very airy and open and it wasn’t stifling hot even though it was super hot out. It’s a definite place you should visit if you’re in PIB.

I have to give this place 5 stars for the sheer fact that I came in with a group of 13 girls and the staff didn’t even bat an eye to put tables together for us and separate all of our checks. Our server was prompt and friendly, food came out quickly and hot, plus all of our checks were correct the first time around. They had great live music and a great beer selection. We went back for breakfast the next day but the line was out the door so get in when you can, because this place is great!

Reel good nachos ! & a Reely good show by Ray Fogg. The dude bartender was about as smart as a rock, but other than that it’s a Reely good time!

Went on a Saturday night before the entertainment started, intended to have a beer and keep walking, but the comedy was so good we stayed all night. Try the nachos — yea I know, they’re just nachos — but they were a little unusual and really good. Service was friendly and fast even though they were very busy.

I have only been here for drinks after dinner — basic beers that you cannot mess up. Service was okay, took me a long time to get my bill at the end of our evening(about 12:30 am) but since the tab was much lower than I expected(bartender must have forgotten to put on a few drinks…) I was not complaining. I have not had food here before. Seems like a basic bar, the best part was that we found karaōke here on a Thursday night! Thoroughly enjoyed doing that on my husband’s birthday and the karaōke dj seemed like a fun dude so that’s why I gave it 4 stars.

One of my favorite places on the island. The food is great! I especially like the pickle chips and their own homemade tater tots! Yum! Service is great(thanks Angela) and the atmosphere is always friendly and relaxing.

Great food, good service. Ate there 2x over 3 days and loved the food. Portions solid and quality excellent. Great for lunch. I had a side salad with scotch eggs one day and the perch tacos w battered onion rings, mmmm good.

One of the very few unexpected pleasant surprises in casual dining. This is the only restaurant that actually understands what a Fish Taco is supposed to be prepared and taste like. Lightly Breaded Perch served with a Remoulade Sauce and A crispy slaw topping. Outstanding. As good or better than San Diego CA.

Made our way into this place because we followed the good music. Had a beer and enjoyed the entertainment. The entertainer was great and even invited a kid who played trombone on stage to jam.

A friend on the island suggested this for a nice grownup bourbon. Over 20 bourbons on the list, and some really tasty food selections. There’s no question I’ll be back!

Great music, great food and a nautical atmosphere make this our first stop on Put in Bay! We love the more intimate setting to gather with friends and hang with some of our favorite bartenders. Enjoy an American Mule and wide variety of live music nightly, or stop mid morning for the Reel Squeeze, their signature fresh squeezed grapefruit or orange juice cocktails.

Great food and great music, what’s not to like. The smaller more intimate stage is my first choice for listening to live entertainment on the island. The atmosphere and vibe is a nice place for someone wanting to enjoy a drink and relax with friends.

The Reel Bar has a nautical theme which is perfect for the island. I find it casual and friendly. Great live entertainment and good sound system. Drink menu — try their signature drink(Reely Squeezed) where they juice fresh red grapefruit or orange with your choice of alcohol(top shelf vodka for me). Nothing better on a hot summer evening. Cold draft beer too. Food — great burgers; grilled cheese has two different kinds of cheese and bacon on sourdough bread — delicious with the creamy tomato soup(basil, sherry, cream); fresh salads(hard to come by at some restaurants on the island); local fresh ingredients when available. Prices are very good for the island.

The place was crowded for football, but the food was terrible. Every meal at our table was served cold, the fries were soggy, the fish was cold, the service was poor(over an hour and 15 min for the meal to come), and when we asked about it, the manager became defensive and arrogant. We LOVE Ray Fogg, but will not go back here for dinner.

This is a new bar taking over the Fish Bowl location. I really do enjoy this place. The name seems a little cheezy to me, but it is indeed a real bar on the island(versus the larger spring break forever party scene bars). I’m able to come here and listen to some good live music, drink good quality whiskey, have good conversations with locals and visitors alike, and just not feel lost in a crowd. This bar also serves food, but I would say it’s a bar first, restaurant second. I didn’t have any of the food so I can’t actually comment on it. However, everything I saw looked good and the prices seemed reasonable for the island. When looking at island prices, you have to add on the cost of getting the food from the mainland and that you’re in a tourist zone. It’s always going to cost more even if you’re not there during the busy season. Service was great too. Everyone was very attentive and they treated the tourists just as good as the locals. It’s nice to be a visitor but have the staff treat you special just the same.

The atmosphere is very nice, and it appears that the locals dine here often as the servers were falling all over themselves to keep them happy. We started with the tater tot appetizer, but were disappointed. These are home made tater tots, and lack flavor. The presentation is nice, but they are missing something like onions. I had the buffalo chicken flatbread, which had a wonderful taste, but lacked actual chicken. There were only five small pieces of chicken on the whole flatbread, which was disappointing. My husband had a cheeseburger and fries and they were great. Burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were hot and fresh. Service was spotty, which was annoying as there were only 3 tables of customers. We had to ask for everything. The menu has a lot of odd choices, and even for a resort town, the prices are high. In particular, the grilled cheese sandwich for 10.95 is a bit extreme. They offer music at night and there is a nice bar.

Decorated with a fishing motif. Good burger, not so great fries. Too much sea salt! My sister had a Coconut Vinaigrette Salad with chicken and a Key Lime Crème Brulee. She thought it would be better with more lime.
