Good dive bar but be warned, the first photo in the pics here is NOT from Joe’s patio — there is another restaurant near the state park, southwest from Joes. I’ve included a pic from Joe’s patio.

Nice little dive joint if you want a straight-forward, no frills burger or hot dog and a beer. A little pricey for what you’re getting, but they have a nice little patio area and the service is friendly.

My friends loved their Bloody Marys… they say they were the best of the day! Fun casual bar away from the hubbub of put in bay. Very friendly bartenders too… they were happy to take our pictures too!

Fun dive bar off the beaten path. The best Bloody Mary’s ever! They are homemade with a secret recipe(I asked, and they would not reveal) and a beef stick! Bloody Mary’s…The best way to start a drinking day, or take care of a hangover! That was just the drinks. We had a Sloppy Scotty hot dog and NotJoes(nachos). Yum! Perfect pub grub! What is even better… you don’t feel gouged. The prices were very reasonable! We will be back!

Bartender was great… first one with a personality we’ve had since we got on the island. Dive bar, which we love. Walking distance to the campground. One downside is the kitchen closes early…8pm. They have great merch section and they sell cigars if you are into that.

Joe’s is the best dive bar I’ve ever been to outside of Key West. It’s dark, hot, the service is pretty well non-existent, but the beer is cold and there’s always somebody interesting to talk to. If you’re on the island, head to Joe’s!

Your golf cart takes you to the end of the road and you see a place to drink? It’s Joe’s-a bright red crackerbox with booze and brews. No air conditioning and really not much service-they used to have wood-fire ovens for pizza but they are gone-what’s left is snacky food– nachos, quesadillas; nothing too complicated to prepare. Picnic tables out back where people go to escape the heat of the bar and look like they’d rather be elsewhere, which is what we did as soon as we found out there was no pizza!
