Unfortunately the railhead diner has closed. We had a problem with the bridge that connected Lexington and Purcell and it was closed for quite some time. I guess the owners just could not survive the lack of business. Sorry to see it go, hope it sometime in the future someone open something up there, great location

So, I went because of decent reviews. Awful service, no refills or to-go cups combined with extremely salty food left much to be desired.

This place is a classic small town diner. The onion burgers are good. The fries and onion rings were a good compliment to them. People are extremely friendly. When we were done they made sure we had a refill and a take-out cup.

This place is non-descript from the outside and retro with its green and gold metalflake vinyl interior. When you get inside, you can order one of the best onion-fried burgers in Oklahoma! The service was great and the food was even better. The place is small and the grill is right in the dining area. The servers are all adults and they know how to take care of you. Try it, you’ll like it!

This has changed ownership and has almost the same players as in the past. For the most part it was good except the $ 3.00+ Fried Pie has much to be desired. It’s also the most we’ve ever spent there so the prices have gone up considerably.

Classic small-town diner. Wait staff is simple(tattooed, nose-pierced), but friendly. Sign on the side of the building says ‘Good Olé Hom [sic] Cookin.’ Despite their poor spelling, the Railhead serves good burgers indeed — the onion burger is their specialty. Try the ‘char’ fries — slightly undercooked on this visit, but prepared with the Railhead’s home-made seasoning. Bottomless refills on the Coca-Cola — I mean really bottomless; they would not let me leave without a fresh, full ‘to-go’ cup of soda. I especially enjoyed their tasty fried apple pie!(They also offer peach, cherry, apricot, coconut, and chocolate — all made from scratch by Ms. Pat everyday.)
