A great little gem in a small, somewhat random city. We were passing through on the way to Colorado Springs and decided to stop for dinner — this place definitely lives up to the rest of its solid reviews. Inside is an intimate atmosphere with enjoyable décor. The chicken masala over basmati rice was very tasty, as was the lamb curry(note: they give you a range of spiciness to choose from which was great — if you want ZERO spiciness, order«mild»). Super friendly staff and an overall good experience! If you’re in the area and love Indian food, definitely check it out.

Who knew such a great restaurant would be in this great town. My hubby and I were driving through and I always run to Unilocal for help. I love Indian food and spice(they can make it mild too) and this was some of the best I had! I wanted something of everything… Maybe I should come back for the buffet. Only two things I can comment on: there’s times I like to get inspired by the cocktail menu and there wasn’t one(not the worst thing in the world) and horrible cell service because of the brick building. I actually had to talk to my husband… Kidding!

Very expensive! I ordered vegetarian dish alu gobi with extra basmati rice and paid $ 20.35. The curry wasn’t even enough for the regular order of rice. So, I basically paid $ 20 for a whole lot of rice and«ok» tasting curry.

Came back again, on a Friday night. This time we were in full dinner swing so no worries about being here right before closing. We ordered Saag Paneer and Butter chicken, the portions were HUGE. I have not been to any Indian restaurant in the evenings when ordering a-la-cart you get this much food. My friend ordered a Sweet Lasse but she taught it tasted a bit off, yeasty somehow. I tried it as well and I agreed, it was not like any Lasse we’ve ever had(including the ones in India). When the waitress realized that my friend had not touched the drink she asked if it was not ok. My companion explained that we thought it tasted sort of yeasty. The staff apologized profusely and quickly disappeared to make a new one. After we got the new one we tried it again, it was still very strange and yeasty in flavor, so she apologized again and said she’d make sure not to charge us for it. She came several times to check on us and if we needed anything. She refilled our cucumber water often and was very pleasant and funny. When she brought the bill she was sure to remind us that the Lasse had been taken off the bill. She then provided EXTRA rice for our to go boxes, so that we would have enough to eat with our leftover entrée!!! I am kicking myself for not asking her name! She was an awesome server and I hope to see her again when i come back. We also interacted with another server which was quite the opposite, so I am glad she was our mail gal throughout the evening as she made our meal even more enjoyable!

The curry is great. The buffet has fresh naan and a spicy chutney plus sweet rice. Overall a good eating experience.

I absolutely love this resturant! I love the quality, presentation and variety of the menu. Last night my friend and I had an amazing dinner, we started with the Chat Samosa appetizer, it was very tasty… I had Saag Panter and my BF had the Tiki Marsala… we topped it off with the chili cheese Naan which by the way isn’t on the menu but is off the chart Fabulous! Excellent wine/beer choice! We will be back for sure! Just for the record, the lunch buffet is outstanding too!

Food is good. Hot and seasoned well. Service leaves a lot to be desired. Wait for everything and they aren’t that busy. Will be back but not for sometime due to service.

All I can say is that I have been missing out on some great food for the last few years. The lamb masala was fantastic and bursting with flavor, and the nan(?) bread was one of the best side dishes I’ve had in some time. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the portions that are brought out. As a guy who can pack away an egregious amount of food, I can say that my friend and I both left very full, and we had a box of leftovers(we shared the entrée). The most expensive portion of the meal was the wine, but without ordering that, you can reasonably expect to have a great experience for two for less than $ 30. The service was excellent, and their recommendations were spot-on and much appreciated. The atmosphere was very eastern, with silk hangings and colorful adornments all around with a soundtrack playing in the background to match the theme. We both enjoyed admiring the decorations, and it definitely added that little something extra to the whole experience. TL;DR, this is a fantastic spot for anything from date night to a more formal meal. 5/5, and I will certainly be back!

I must honestly say that I would have expected a lot more differentiated flavours in the dishes I tried. I might have somewhat preconceived notions after having lived in India for several years. I am not going to start arguing about whether the food is «authentic» or whatever, but all I tasted in my Dal Tadka was garlic. The reason I like Indian food so much is the different flavours merged together which clearly was not even remotely the case here. Dal Tadka was a dark, brown gravy rather than the delicious yellow dish it is supposed to be. On a plus side the portions were huge, but that does not help at all when the quality is lower than expected.

Food is unbelievably good. Very generous portions. Staff was awesome. Everyone was nice! The owner, chef(I think) stopped by my table to make sure everything was great. I travel a lot, so I try new foods all around. I recommend this place, highly.

I was in town for the night and decided to try out Mr. Tandoori given the decent Unilocal reviews and my love for Indian food. The food was authentic and came in giant portion sizes. Recommend trying the samsoa chat appetizer.

I eat out excessively from what people tell me. I love Indian food and good Indian food is hard to come by. I’m now a repeated customer here. The service has been very polite each time I come. They even warn me about their heat«it’s Indian hot, you sure you don’t want medium». Yeah I’m sure. The food is on point. The service is very good. And tonight the cook came out to specifically ask me how the food was. This hasn’t happen in years and prompted me to write this review. Last time I came here I gave them a suggestion and tonight they made the change. This place really cares about what experience their clientele has. When I find a gem.

Wow this place is sooooo Good. Came here for my birthday. And ordered chicken masala. And kormas chicken. Veg and lamb pakora and samosa. And the mixed tandori meats. And finished off with the gulab jamlun. Drank it down with chai and mango lassie

I absolutely love the brunch buffet. And one of the biggest reasons I love this restaurant is also how wonderful the owner Parmy is. He is caring and genuinely wants your experience to be great.

Excellent service, amazing fresh flavors and huge portions. The chutneys were the best I have had anywhere. Just wish I could find a comparable Indian restaurant in Denver!

On our way to Denver we decides to make a pit stop for dinner in pueblo. We wanted to have some vegeterian as we had been feasting on meat all day long and so we Unilocaled it. Sadly only 2 choices popped up and so mr. Tandoori had the better reviews. We ordered vegetable Samosas and aloo mattar. The somos as were spot on. Crispy and tasty. The basmati rice was fluffy and very aromatic! I really loved the flavors that the aloo mattar had. Definitely good indian food!
