We were searching for an electrician to do some relatively minor upgrades at our house (installing an outside outlet, and adding switched lights in three closets). Our first call went to a regional chain, which bid upwards of $ 6,000 for the job. Our second call went to Mathews Brothers. Ace came out on Friday and gave us a bid of $ 800; he came back with his coworker on Monday to do the work. It was fast, uneventful (in a good way), and they charged exactly what they bid. He even vacuumed up afterwards. Excellent service, excellent price, and great folks to deal with. No question — in the future, we do business with Mathews Brothers.

These guys are awesome! I am selling my home and the buyer’s inspector found an issue in our electrical box. I have to get it fixed to complete the sale. Called this place to get an estimate on a Friday afternoon. They treated me with respect and asked lots of questions to determine exactly what the problem was over the phone which I appreciated. Ace and his coworker showed up at my door just a few hours later and fixed the problem in minutes. They were very nice and the price was certainly reasonable! If you want fast, friendly, and affordable electric work done, these are the guys to call!
