Hurricane Grill & Wings

The sign on the door says they close at 10pm, but when my fiancé and I showed up at 9:36 to have a beer and order some wings to go they already had the doors locked.

Stopped here for lunch today, Mothers Day. I had a ½ lbs burger with all the fixings, it was a 10…
Fast service, friendly waitress. I’ll be back.

Went here for an early dinner. Ordered the hamburger sliders, onion rings and chili. The only thing that was at least tasty were the onion rings. (Pretty sure they were frozen). The chili was bland and apparently made from cut up burger patties, dry and chewy, very few kidney beans and watery. Asked for saltines to go with it, they don’t carry crackers. No spice or even a chili powder flavor. almost a sweet tomato soup taste. The sliders were overdone chewy and dry, served on a borderline stale roll topped with scorched red onions. The customers at the next table ordered wings which did look great. $ 25.00 wasted.

There seems to be mini hurricane wings popping up around the Port St. Lucie area now-it’s kind of hard to keep track of them now. Having eight at most of them, I must say this location in St. Lucie West along with the one on Veterans Memorial would be my top picks. Granted, I haven’t tried them all but I’ve always gotten warm, above and beyond service from everyone from the guy who answers the phone to take my carry out order to the bartender inside. They always post their specials outside that make it really tempting when I’m on a bike ride, going to Publix or the gym. Great wings, sauces and beer specials. It’s really nice to have a place like this in our neighborhood!

Can say nothing good. We waited over 50 minutes for sliders and grilled fish and they could care less. There’s way to many Restraunts in the area to just not care about customers.

They were out of first 3 things we ordered… not cool. Service was super slow. Go somewhere else unless you really want wings.

My mom and dad are regulars here, so my two siblings and I went for dinner. Although our waiter was great (for as long as we stayed) we all agreed that there must be a management problem at this location. First, they were out of a signature menu item (parm garlic fries). But more serious was the way they handled being out of shrimp. My brother ordered a platter that had shrimp, chicken, fries, and fried pickles. A few minutes after ordering, he was informed that there was no shrimp available, he said, no prob, just put another chicken finger or more pickles. To that, he was informed that there would be «no substitutions». The waiter seemed pained to be directed to deliver that message when the substitution was the fault of poor planning on the part of the restaurant.
My expectation when a restaurant can’t deliver, is that they do anything reasonable that would please the customer, like substitute fried pickles for shrimp (that was unavailable)! But, wow, unbelievable how non accommodating they were at this location. Come to find out, my mom has walked out of this location several times due to lack of availability of various menu items (one time, they were out of wings!!) Luckily, there is another Hurricanes location 2 exits south.

I’m not a big fan of Hurricanes Grill & Wings anymore. We use to frequent this place often, but it isn’t quite the same place. The wings are expensive, the food is mediocre and the service is slow. The staff is friendly but we don’t care to go here anymore.

When we first arrived, the place was packed on a Sunday night around 7pm. The serving staff was very friendly and professional though. We sat down fairly quick and the menu was very impressive! I had the wings, Mango bbq and they we’re very good! My girlfriend got the mahi-​mahi salad and was amazing! The whole family loved the experience and the waiting staff definitely made the difference!

Yoooo the wings here are dope! The service is always great. This location is smaller compares to other Hurricane locations but it’s all good. Try any flavor, doesn’t matter they’re all good. Oh, and the garlic parm fries are GAF (Good As Fuck)

Small but good restaurant for wings, burgers and comfort food. The restaurant is not fancy and is small with mostly outdoor seating. All the food we ordered was very good and well cooked from the boneless wings, to the sandwiches and the cooked fish. The wait staff was excellent and the waitress took our order without having to write it down. Definitely worth a visit.

Love their sauces and their chicken. Always had great service as well!!!

I can’t believe there are no reviews for this location — my favorite one on the Treasure Coast! I quit being a vegetarian because of these wings. They have the best sauces around. I love Fire & Ice (think cocktail sauce mixed with wing sauce — it’s excellent on the buffalo shrimp), but my absolute favorite is the magical combination of Ridiculously Hot sauce and the dry habanero rub (I am a hot food junkie). I’m kind of a regular (I was the only girl in their first hot wing eating contest and I came in 4^th place) and love when the hubby says «Let’s get wings!» The staff is always friendly (and it was nice to have the waitresses rooting for me during the contest) and they have lots of fun events and specials. I’m so glad we have a great location of this (always good) chain nearby.
