Went last week to Kirby Park,. We paddle boarded from moss landing park. We were shocked.
Bathroom was tore up, poop over flow on to floor. Porta potty FULL!. Only one Honey Pot for the whole park.
On a Sunday mornng, I would think county would has somebody taking care of place. Maybe they need to start charging a day use fee to pay for up keep.
Stay away til they Empty the Honey Pot!

Wetlands park with easy free parking and access. Trains run immediately behind the park. For train buffs this is a good thing for nature lovers not so much. Luckily they are infrequent. There is a canoe/kayak launch area. Good for birding watching (shore birds). Nicer early in morning. In the afternoon there are people that are just hanging out in their cars some playing music. Bring binoculars as many of the birds are off in the distance. You can see harbor seals here too.
