I recently took in a basket of my clothes to sell and I’m very disappointed with my experience. The employee was shady and unfriendly and I had an uneasy feeling the second I interacted with her. I was unsure if they bought swimming suits or not, so I took a few in just in case(one of which was brand new from Victoria’s Secret still with the tags). When the employee had finished with my buy, I looked through the pile to see what she had chosen. The one thing I was pleased about was the amount of clothes I was able to sell but as I was leaving I had a feeling to check the basket for my bikini tops, because I did not see any in the«sold» pile. So I went home, unpacked the remaining items and found that 2 tops were unaccounted for. I immediately called and asked for the manager, who went on to say that they only purchase swimsuits with tags still intact. Okay, well what about the other one that did NOT have tags? She went and asked the employee who did my buy, who then said she saw it but put it back in my basket. First, if they do buy swim suits, how come I didn’t see any in the store for sell? Second, I’m not even sure if the new VS bikini top was included in my buy. In conclusion, I feel robbed. I believe that the employee was dishonest and took the tops for herself. Not only was she robbing me, the customer, but also robbing the company. I hope the owner see’s this review so there can be further investigation of the integrity of their employees. If she did it to me, guaranteed she’s done it to other customers. I used to be a frequent customer with Trendy Xchange because I prefered it over Plato’s Closet and Uptown Cheapskate, but due to this experience, I will not be shopping or selling with Trendy Xchange again.

Today I went to Trendy x Change with a box of clothes and they sorted through it and offered me $ 19 on a gift card. They advertise«cash for clothes» and i was furious… i don’t need a gift card
