Cute, trendy location and the most amazing stylist! Sydney always does *exactly*what I ask for! She is so accommodating, attentive, and kind. I even take my 7 year old to get her hair cut by Syd here because of how great she is. We will absolutely keep going back!

Sydney is the best! I am very picky with my hair. She has color corrected, cut, hair painted and highlighted my hair at different times. She is fantastic, never rushed, listens to my concerns, answers my questions and delivers what I ask. I am always happy with my hair when I leave and I get so many compliments. I travel from California to have my hair done by her only. Thanks Sydney.

I was so happy with my haircut and color. I had never been to this salon before and took a chance and was so happy I did. Sydney did a fabulous job and gave me exactly what I wanted. She is excellent at hair painting and I would recommend her to anyone. She also gave me some great tips on how to care for my thin, fine hair.

ASK FOR ALISA!!! She’s incredible. She takes her time and does exactly what you want! :) She also recommended what she would do if it were her hair, and that helped a lot because I don’t know anything about styling or products. I was amazed at how well of a job Haleigh did styling my hair. I have very long thick hair and was wanted to chop it all off but was nervous. She gave me her honest opinion saying she thought it would look great. It only took about 45 minutes for her to wash, cut, dry, and style my hair. I will definitely be going back here again.

Alisa was fabulous. My mother and sister are hair dressers and this is only the second time I have ever paid for a hair cut. I’m super critical about my hair cuts. I have very thick hair that need a lot of layering/​thining. We discussed everything I wanted in detail beforehand and she was confident that she coould give me what I wanted. She was great with taking instructions.
Most impressive was how patient and kind she was with my 12month old. It takes two people for him to get a hair cut these days. He is extremely wiggle. I can’t cut his hair myself anymore.
The atmosphere was relaxing. It was clean and modern. The price was perfect. The rest of the staff was friendly. I will recommend her to my family & friends who live in the area and when we are in town from LA I will use her again. Thanks Alisa!

I had a bad experience at another salon (we’re talking orangey hair and an uneven cut) and after being told that they couldn’t fit me in until four days later to fix it, Salon On The Avenue came to the rescue. They were able to fit me in according to my schedule and Heather was amazing at fixing not only my color issue but at giving me a cute hair cut to boot! She listened to me about what I wanted and gave suggestions on how we could fix it and make it better. She checked with me before actually pulling out the scissors and as far as the color, she even brought out a swatch book so that we could make sure I got the color that I wanted. Best stylist I’ve ever had! If you decide to go to Salon on the Avenue you won’t be disappointed!

I was in town for a visit and Kassie took me in the same day I called for a hair coloring to cover my grey roots, all over. I had been on two unexpected business and family trips so I hadn’t been able to go to my regular Hair stylist in Hawaii. Kassie matched my hair color perfectly. She applied conditioner twice, along with a wonderful head massage. I didn’t have the usual skin irritation as with the other times I color my hair. I think it was because of the extra care she took with the rinsing. Whenever I visit Utah I will always schedule an appointment with her.

I love this place! I love Hailey! She gave me the BEST haircut I have EVER had. Shep Studio was good, but they didn’t really listen to me. So, it was a good haircut, but it wasn’t what I wanted. Hailey was really good at asking what I thought and what I wanted. I have really thick hair and no one else has ever been able to thin it out and give it the texture I want. She was so great. She kept asking if I wanted it thinned out more, textured more, layered, etc. and she styled it super cute once it was dry. I will definitely go back!

This place is great! It’s a cute little salon right on University Avenue. I got a cut and highlights done by Betsy and she was great. Super friendly. I took her a written description of what my last hair stylist did and she followed it perfectly. She also cut my hair exactly like I asked. I wanted to trim it up but keep it as long as possible and I worry because sometimes hair stylists cut what they think is the right amount and it ends up making it really hard to grow out hair. Definitely didn’t have this problem with. She also gave me a head massage at the end to top it all off! The pricing is super reasonable too and everyone was very nice.

Hailey touched up my blue highlights and cut my hair. I love it!!! She made sure I was happy and that everything was symmetrical. I will definitely go back. Very clean environment.

Very friendly and good at their work. The space is also nice and relaxing, and they provide some good advice. Very reasonably priced. My only complaints are that they’re not open on Sundays (like many Utah businesses) and I often forget to call for a reservation until it’s too late. Still, I’m glad they’re busy. Good people.

After walking out due to a 35 minute wait to get my hair cut, Alice called me to apologize. She also offered me $ 10 off. I appreciated the good customer service.

Worst experience ever. Made an appointment. They called me back to come in later which I obliged. I came at the appointed time and was told the girl that would be cutting my hair was in the back and would be right out. I sat for a half an hour without anyone saying anything to me. When I asked how much longer it would be I received a non-​description answer. I waited another 5 minutes and left. Businesses fail when customers take and back seat. I certainly felt that way here.

I’ve always been so scared dying my hair because I’m a natural strawberry blonde. And I’ve never been to a salon in Provo either, so I was extremely nervous! But I had an appointment with Haley who gave me blonde highlights and I am absolutely in LOVE with my hair! All my friends have been saying how great it looks and I couldn’t be happier. Definitely going back to her!

Ask for Hailey Phillips. Great salon. Much better than other places around I’ve gotten haircuts at. They always hook me up on my favorite hair products.

I hate getting my hair cut because it’s so fine and so a little mistake is amplified. $ 25 is a lot less than anywhere reputable in the valley so I was wary but read good reviews (via google). I asked for Kailee. I brought a picture of what I wanted and what I didn’t and she was so happy I did because it set clear expectations. She deliverd exactly what I wanted and spent a good hour on my hair. After the cut, wash, and style, I was incredibly pleased! I left a $ 7 tip and she was overjoyed! I would definitely recommend her. She listens to what you want and doesn’t spend the hour awkwardly trying to strike up a stupid conversation. If I still lived there, it’d be my constant go-​to. Too bad I discovered it a few weeks before I moved :(

It’s a really cute place and the girls were super sweet so I feel bad doing this, but I take my hair super seriously. So I set my appointment up with someone specific that was good and doing what I wanted (I was told), then right before my appointment they called and asked of I could come In a half hour later which luckily I could though slightly inconvenient. Then when I arrived a different girl said she was doing my hair than the one they set me up with who I was assured would know how to do what I wanted so know I was annoyed. I wasn’t impressed thus far with the disorganization, but I said whatever and didn’t pitch a fit. I think she honestly tried to give me what I wanted. I even showed her a picture, but I came out with the worst die job ever, it barely looked any different except for three distinct stripes of very contrasting blond on each side. Hello 90s teenybopper. I was originally brunette and asked for a honey auburn color. It was NOT that at all. And then I pain 95 dollars for NOTHING, I called and went back to have her fix it but she could only dim down the highlights otherwise I would have had to pay for new treatment. The place I went later was MUCH higher quality for 5 dollars less, so to me this place is over prices and less skill /:

Went in today for a simple wash & blowdry but came back with more than I expected. I was contemplating getting a deep conditioning treatment, but didn’t want to spend too much more money, so my hairstylist, Hailey, came up with a great in-​between solution. She found an amazing moisturizing conditioner from Enjoy and left it in my hair for a few minutes. When she blew dried my hair out it felt sooo soft! It was wonderful. :) She noticed my bangs were in my eyes and told me she could trim them up a little for me. I was very hesitant to cut them since the last person to do so cut waaay too much off, but Hailey was very good about just trimming them so they weren’t in my eyes. In fact, she was really good about asking me if I was satisfied with how my hair looked & felt. I loved how caring/​concerned she was for my satisfaction. Overall, it was a great experience and I only paid $ 20 for everything! Great service, great price… I’ll definitely be back again!

I usually go to really cheap-​o places to get my hair cut but decided to spend a little more this time and I am so glad I did. Not only is the salon adorable, they are so friendly. It’s not snobby like some other cute/​trendy salons. The girl who cut my hair was so nice and asked me lots of questions while she was doing it. I am definitely going back.
