Two concerns with this Daylight Donuts – product and service. The donuts are only average and with Krispy Kremes, BYU, and Maceys in the area, they do not match up with size, taste, texture. My biggest complaint, however, is the service, especially the service in the mornings, primetime for donuts. The gal that usually works there is anything but friendly and courteous. I I went there this morning, picked out the donuts, paid for them and not a smile or a «thank you.» I finally said, «Thank you,» and«perhaps you should say that, too, and maybe even a smile.» She looked up at me and said, «If you don’t like it, don’t come back!»

Not good. If you like large, fluffy, delicious donuts then you will not like daylight donuts. The donuts are small and the dough is insufficiently sweet.

So glad to see a Daylight donuts in Provo. I was hoping to find the same yummy quality as the Pleasant Grove location, but I think they’re still getting into their groove. The donuts weren’t warm and fresh, seemed like they had been made the day or night before. If I go to a donut place first thing in the morning, I want to smell donuts baking and for that box to be warm in my hands. But the place is really clean and modern, the service was great. I hope they get more and more business.
