I would love to give this a 4.3 by the option isn’t available. Seriously such great service and bending over backwards to give me extra lettuce and pico! I feel like most Baka Mexican places place as little ingredients as they can get away with. But I was loaded excellently! Everything was athletically appealing. Tasted great. And left me satisfied! I only had the kids enchilada meal. Sweet pork, black beans and medium sauce. But it was perfect! Great service, fast service. Very clean and fun atmosphere.

I love Costa vida, but this location in general really seems to do a nice job. The general manager Jesus does a really nice job, he is so friendly and helpful! If you go there late at night right before they close, and he’s there he will most likely give you some extra food or a free drink even. I think that adds a nice touch on to the restaurant business, when they do small things like that to build trust and loyalty. The food is fresh tasting and excellently prepped. I have never been disappointed with the Quality or the quantity. I would recommend them to just about anyone!

The food was great, but I got the salad thinking that it would be equivalent to Café Rio’s…but it wasn’t. It tasted great, but Café Rio gives you a lot more meet for a similar price. Service was good!

This location is nice. It’s off to the side of fat cats but there’s another parking lot you can use. The food is good, typical Costa Vida, the service is really good here. The only thing is, sometimes the tables are a little dirty.

My review is short and concise: Good price This restaurant definitely doesn’t do anything different from café rio. It almost feels like a downgrade. I’m from Virginia, I didn’t grow up with either so my opinion is not biased. Some ppl can’t accept the fact that there is something better than café rio but take my word for it, there is. Costa vida isn’t one of them. Yet the food is good quality and the burritos are delicious, I couldn’t help but try and find a noticeable difference between what they do and what café rio does. This place is a great place to take a girl for a date. Seriously, for some reason girls really like this place. It just has a good stigma like zupas. Overall you won’t be disappointed neither wowed by your food. In the end you’ll wonder why you didn’t just go to café rio.

I come here at least once a week. I get a small salad with either chicken or shredded beef– both delicious. The small is also very filling and satisfying so no need to get regular. Usually get it to go because the atmosphere isn’t that pleasant. Overall much better than café rio

They ALWAYS screw something up at this location. Don’t bother ordering online as it won’t be ready! Won’t be back!

The restaurant was cold. No horchata. Poorly mixed fountain drinks. No whole wheat tortillas. No compensation. That being said, the food was still delicious.

Americanized Mexican food. Tasty, consistent, but nothing special. They have every day student specials, which are great.

By far the worst Costa Vida I have ever been to. My steak burrito was very light on the steak. It tasted sub pare. Lesson learned I will just go to others I have had better luck with.

I had a great experience at this location. I forgot my wallet and I didn’t have any way to pay and they seriously just gave me my burrito! The serving portions were awesome and the workers were also awesome! Highly recommended

Who doesn’t like sweet pork burritos. Great food and it’s connected to fat cats. Only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is I believe the management could treat their employees better from what I have seen

I think I’m addicted to Costa Vida. This location is excellent when it comes to the food and the service. Almost all of the employees are upbeat and friendly and seem like they’re enjoying themselves. The process is very fast and efficient from the time you take your order to when you get your food and pay. I find that the line moves quicker than at Café Rio. I’ve always been in out in ten minutes or less. The food always tastes delicious. Order the two sweet pork enchiladas – you won’t regret it. I like the pricing a lot better than Café Rio; it’s slightly cheaper and in my opinion tastes fresher. Plus, they have daily specials for $ 6.99 which come with a drink. The horchata is incredible. As far as desserts, their chocolate chip cookies are addictive, as well as their tres leches. I will definitely dream about Costa Vida when I leave Provo and pine after it – it’s really that good.

This place is an exact knock off of café rio, which I’m not too find of either, the sweet pork is overly sweet, I have yet to experience A wow factor into anything I have eaten here. Despite their latest attempts to be different from café rio, they are desperately reaching to do that, the meat flavors are unsurprisingly underwhelming, I do admit the salsa’s are good and serviceable, I still have yet to have a memorable experience here, I will never return here again

It’s a Café Rio copycat, right down to the assembly line and the sweet pork. The food is delicious. And I far prefer to go here than Café Rio. Yes, the food at Café Rio is delicious. But the experience of eating there is like fighting a herd of hungry Rottweilers for a lick of a single spoonful of peanut butter. When I’m ordering, I can hear the person behind me audibly sigh if I pause for 0.5 seconds to decide between black or pinto beans. During peak hours, hunting down a table takes serious effort and a reasonable amount of passive-aggression. And, the employees always put extras on my meal after I clearly say«No thanks», and then they insist on charging me for the extras even after they realize their own mistake. I was overjoyed to discover Costa Vida, where the food is just as good(if not better), and the atmosphere and service are actually pleasant. I actually think their rice and beans are way better and more flavorful than Café Rio’s. They also have better prices on combo meals(especially for students). It’s clean and well-maintained. Not a zoo. You don’t have to sell your soul to find a table. It’s inside a bowling alley, but once you’re inside the restaurant, you really can’t tell. Good for a quick lunch or dinner. Service is so much better than Café Rio. Since it’s not a literal beehive in there, the employees actually have time to be friendly, focus on your order, and make it right. They also have employees walking around the restaurant, asking if they can get your trash or refill your drink. PRICE: The daily special combos are around $ 6 – 7 and you get a drink. If you’re a student, you can get any daily special any day of the week. I always get two sweet pork enchiladas with rice and beans. It’s divine.

Have been here a lot. It is very similar to Café Rio(have you have heard from many other reviews). We usually cam here instead of Café Rio because it is less crowded and they have good specials. Every day has a different special, but if you are a student you can pick any special any day. I always order the sweet pork salad. I like that they have the option for a regular or small salad. Café Rio does not. This is sooooo yummy. This location is inside the bowling alley. They have an entrance from the bowling alley and one on its own on the street side of the building.

Love this place. Some say it’s a rip off of Café Rio, but I like it better. The sweet pork is the best option. If you’re a student, you can get the student special with a free drink. You can also get any special, any day. I recommend Tuesday’s sweet pork enchiladas! Even better than the burrito!

I’m pretty sure every time I go into this location of Costa Vida, it seems as if they’re trying to save money on electric bills by turning the lights literally almost all the way down. The food is decent. The green chili sauce is really the only thing I go for, but Café Rio is better and fresher by a long shot. The debate between Café Rio, Bajio and Costa Vida is almost as lively and heated as the BYU/Utah rivalry. Each opinion will be different.

Just went here for the first time. It was delicious. I had the shredded beef burrito smothered in red sauce. I feel like I got a great amount of food for the price. Also, when the manager(or owner or someone important) heard I hadn’t been there before, she walked me through the menu. Very helpful; very friendly. I’ll definitely be back.
