This place has awesome drinks to choose from! Hands down so much better than Starbucks!!! Four stars because they have some employees that are super friendly and have great service and some that seem super unhappy to be there. But either way the drinks are worth it for sure! So hope they stick around cause there needs to be better coffee places in Utah as a whole.

I went to this place today and their drink were pretty good but the lady working was completely rude. She was very impatient and just overall rude to all the customers.

Truly delicious coffee that doesn’t taste like chemicals and plastic. Friendly and interesting baristas. I probably shouldn’t spend as much money there as I do but it’s so delicious and convenient.

Simply looking for a place I can relax, do some work(on my laptop), and enjoy some good coffee. Starbucks is always packed, so I found out about this place and thought I’d check it out, which was a huge waste of time. They have 1 outlet for all the inner seating and couches, which was taken by the«open» sign. All other outlets line the bar-type seating by the Windows. Except the blinds on half are broken, so unless you’ve taken one of the 2 seats by the blinds that work, have fun getting the sun’s light blasted in your face while you’re working. Never even bothered to try the drinks because I’m never coming back unless I plan to only do as little work as my battery will allow.

Good drinks, but not a friendly atmosphere. The people there aren’t the nicest and they seem to hate their job.

Go try the other coffee shop in Provo and you’ll soon find out why this is the only place to get coffee in Provo. Customer service can be a little rude at times but it’s worth it for best coffee in Provo…

Went in here to get drinks about a week ago– the employee at the counter was totally standoffish and rude. We got there and she was cleaning something towards the back and mumbled something that sounded like the equivalent of «what do you want?». She wasn’t looking at me so I thought she was talking to someone in the back being so far away; though clearly not, as she gets visibly pissed after me not responding and barks at me asking if I know what I want yet. I’m taken off guard so I just ordered a steamer. The whole time she’s taking the order, she’s communicating to me that I’m clearly ruining her life by being there – she won’t make eye contact, she’s mumbling and being totally passive aggressive. It was a frustrating experience because she was mean, but even more so it It was a really confusing experience because I don’t know why she was so mad at us for being there. It wasn’t like we started off by being demanding or rude, she started the interaction off that way! I gave two stars because the steamer was actually good, but this was by far the worst and strangest customer service experience I’ve had in a long time. Do they not want new customers? Is it supposed to be a regulars-only place? Do I have to have a nose-ring or dye my hair Aqua in order to be treated like a human, let alone get good service? If this is the case, that’s fine– but at least post a sign on the door or something.

eek. Every single time I have been to coffee pod the staff had been rude to me. Makes me wonder why I stopped going to Starbucks where everyone was nice and knew my name/order when coming in.

ugh. no effort at all made here to create a pleasant experience. just moved here and the first time i came in i left with a bad taste in my mouth. i’ve returned a few times both to satisfy the need for coffee and also to almost conduct an experiment; to give this place a chance to be worth coming to. i have come in when it’s slow, when it’s busy, and despite bringing as pleasant an attitude as a customer needs to in order to receive even decent treatment. i feel like a bother, an interruption. it almost feels like my presence confuses the folks behind the bar. brusque, but not in a charming way. talkative but always self-concerned ramblings that(i feel) don’t need aired to the whole café. no need to say i’ll never be back, as provo leaves few options for substitutes. however, i’ll do my best to avoid having to deal with the consistently unfriendly fellow generally there morning through afternoon. are you a complex person that can be really nice once you feel comfortable/obliged/encouraged? i think the business and the customers would be better served if you left your sour attitude at home or found a position where pleasant interaction with others is less frequently required.

Mexi mocha is the best coffee drink ever. I’m up 4:30am thinking about it. Teas are top notch. Fresh juiced vegetables and fruits for an extra healthy choice. Good job coffee pod!

Finally I was able to find some decent coffee in Provo/Orem. Had a soy latte(hot) and am not disappointed. Will be returning again!

Absolutely one of my favorite coffee places in the Utah Valley area! I spent many a Sunday studying here; the atmosphere is just right and the espresso is pretty good for an American café. I will say it gets a little loud sometimes, but I personally like that — it helps me think!

Pod is a fitting word for this place. Very small. Every time i go there are two workers max, which during busy time can suck they get pretty backed up. But if there is no one there the service is quick and awesome. Full disclosure… I really just like being here. They have so many different things to choose from. But I go to chill and just kind of relax, especially because in the morning they dont have tons of people there(because they have a drive thru that most people go through… two different spellings… same meaning). The baked goods and stuff are pretty fairly priced. I wouldn’t say they are outstanding it would probably be better to get donuts or pastries from a bakery but for the price these ones arent too bad. THEVERDICT: Provo doesn’t have a whole lot of coffee spots and this one is the best. You can get decaf or… caf… for all of the mormon peeps here. Even if you don’t like coffee you should go. JUSTFORTHESMELL!

I am going to give it three stars but really it should be more like two. I give it three stars because it is a coffee shop in Provo, UT. It should get two stars but because it is a coffee shop in Provo, it should be kick butt and it’s not. The strip-mall location. the generic interior, and the underwhelming coffee shop feel and appeal are what is lacking here. I must say the dinks are very inexpensive and the coffee is roasted well. However, there are several far better coffee shops in UT even.

Lovely coffee offerings, friendly service that doesn’t condescend, and a drive-through??? What more could one ask for in a coffee stop? I can’t comment on the juices, hot chocolate, chai or even the edibles here. I come here for the coffee. Why? Because it’s *really*really* good coffee — every time. Their coffee is worth talking about first. In the wintertime, I love a hot, smooth medium roast with one of their various non-dairy options here: my preference is Almond Milk but I also love Soy. When I’m feeling like a treat needs me, I splurge with a Caramel Macchiato. They make them the way I ask — with just a small amount of Caramel syrup — I want to taste the coffee first. In the Summer, their iced coffee is one of my favorite pleasures — in a 30 oz cup. Another aspect of the service I love at Coffee Pod is that they refill my insulated Starbucks trenta cup for 1⁄3 of the price that Starbucks charges me, and the coffee is much better at Coffee Pod. Now — the drive-through. Thank heaven for it, but wow, they are in a pickle. The location is terrible, first of all. Getting in and out of this particular area of this shopping center in general is a joke since Chick-Fil-A moved in. Then, maneuvering your vehicle into the drive-through line at Coffee Pod, especially during a busy time, is akin to the likelihood of winning the Utah lottery. But, God love them for having one, nonetheless. I hope to use it someday. I don’t care that I have to park at the hospital, walking dangerously close to a life-risking intersection, and come in to order my coffee here. It’s worth it. Plus, Coffee Pod people-watching is priceless, so I’m actually beginning to prefer it.

Good place to go and relax. Gets a little crowded sometimes. Most of the staff is pretty friendly. Fun art all over the place. Dog friendly patio and they have dog treats at the drive-thru as well.

great menu of drinks, both coffee and without. The fresh press juices are great, but you don’t go here for the juice, you go for the coffees. My recommendations? –My go to summer drink is a green tea frappé Best green tea frappé I’ve ever had. –I also really enjoy a blended Mexi mocha –When I want a hot drink I usually order a Milky Way or dirty Chai latte. They are slow, and that’s why I give them 4 out of 5. The atmosphere is fun and hip. Very much an oasis from your typical Provo scene.

I go into the coffee pod about three times a week. Their caramel macchiato is delicious! I also get iced chai teas and am rarely disappointed. I do always feel like I’m bothering the employees just by being there. It doesn’t have the most welcoming feel about it. Two of the ladies that work there are always really friendly though. The muscular dude is very unfriendly. I wouldn’t let him work for me. Having to re-login to the wifi is somewhat annoying also because the password changes every so often. To conclude: good drinks, decent customer service.

My latte was decent, but the honey bran muffin was awful. I’ve had healthy bran muffins before but I couldn’t even finish this one, which was very small to begin with. To make matters worse, yesterday, when I went to order my latte, I asked if their Mexican Latte(with espresso, milk, and spicy hot chocolate) was more sweet or spicy — a valid question. the woman helping me, with pinkish/orange-ish hair, middle-aged, said in a rude tone, «I don’t knooooow» as if it were a really stupid question and went on to vaguely describe the latte. I did not appreciate being spoken down to. The man next to her overheard the exchange and provided an answer. There are a bunch of signs around the place that also made me feel unwelcome. «Don’t help yourself to cups!» and«20 cent surcharge for all cards,» among others.

Great place, great coffee. And they give you a chocolate covered espresso bean with your coffee! Great ambiance. Only downside is they only have non-fat or whole milk, no low-fat, but it’s still worth the trip!
